I got it today, unfortunately there's a big problem - when used via USB, I have to lower the volume via software on my source by 5-10db otherwise there's what sounds like very loud digital clipping (painful). It seems the Fiio can't take a digital signal thats more then -10db. It should be fine up to 0db like all other devices/dacs I have.
I tried it on IPhone (Apple music and Qobuz), Macbook (Apple music) and Android phone (Qobuz and UAPP) - the same behaviour can be observed.
This make the Fiio unusable via USB unfortunately. Bluetooth works fine.
I have the latest Firmware.
@FiiO is this firmware problem?
* I enabled/disabled EQ (although EQ doesn't seem to work via USB)
* Tried different filters and different gain settings
* I did a factory reset which worked for a minute, but as soon as enabled/disabled PEQ it started again
When I connect it via usb computer sees it as Q15 PEQ SDK which is weird. I have to factory reset it then it's seen as Q15 only. Some funny business going on firmware wise. i'm hoping its soft problem
