If connected to pc only from data port what happen, make vbus taken power from pc port or from battery when phone mode is off and deskop mode is off? What function have deskop mode only for cbarge port or also have function like vbus mode for data port? Deskop mode work only for charge port or have dual mode functions?
I like to know if have q15 vbus mode when used only data port like dongles have take data and power from sour e usb port.or have only off and on charge mode but take power everytime from own battery?
If charget from data port is possible have automatic stop charging like samsung phones wben rich 80% battery have this option also or not?

Unfortunately, the battery sometimes starts to run out, and sometimes it gets charged.
It seems that there is not enough power from the USB port of the PC, when using
Super high gain. Or it just doesn't work quite right.

As I understand it, when the desktop mode is turned on, the Q15 should not charge and discharge the battery.
However, today, after five days of use, when working on a PC, it started charging. I turned it off, flipped the desktop mode switch, and now it doesn't seem to charge the battery when connected to a PC.
Maybe in desktop mode it is necessary to supply additional power through the second USB-c connector?
I really don't want to use the battery when listening through the PC.

I also did not find the user manual for Fiio Q15 on the website.

You can simply understand those 2 USB ports:
1, the black one is the data port
2, orange is the fast charging interface

When your desktop mode is ON, he will not consume Q15's battery, but when Q15's battery is very low, he will start to charge it automatically, for better protection of the battery.

Please check your software version, if it's not V1.66, we suggest you to upgrade it to 1.66 by computer, it will be more stable.

Hi Got FiIIO Q15 Yesterday . Does it Require any drivers for Windows 10 ? As Usb is inserted in the lap top a driver was identified. But in Roon Fiio Q15 is giving PCM 384 and DSD 256 only not the High values. Thank you

If you would like to use ASIO output mode or play DSD files, our USB DAC driver is recommended to installed in your Win10. But if not, you could just use the preset driver in the Win10 for the Q15.

What happen when press volume buttons or skip pause button everytime the screen wake up or have possibilities to make them off when volume buttons will be pressed? I hate screen on before sleep and don t like led light in general..is possible have completely off screen and led light when only use side buttons?

Minimum Screen timeout is 15s.
But short press on the „power on/off“ Button turns the screen off.
I use the Q15 also mainly at night, so no light at all.

Long press on the „power on/off“ Button = turn on/off the device

Short press on the „power on/off“ Button = turn on/off the screen

Asio output Roon has access so it's ok. But the preset Windows Driver is 384 bitrate only not 768. Also when Asio is activated in roon and we exit Roon and play regular windows 10 apps like YouTube and others the Laptop speaker play instead of Q15 with the Windows driver being "Fiio-Q15 speaker"
