I have this amp/DAC. I have Tidal (HiFi) streaming service that provides CD quality (1411kps) bitrate. The window color is always blue, which according to the specs for this amp/DAC is PCM sampling rate 48kHz or below.

My Q11 is connected to a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra that can provide 32-bit/384kHz audio

Am I receiving 1411kps from Tidal?

If you plan to connect this amp/DAC to a modern Samsung phone, it won't work. The USB-C port of the phone requires the attached amp/DAC to be externally powered. And FiiO customer support doesn't seem interested in responding to customers needing help.

What's the output sampling rate of your music file in Tidal? Does your mobile phone have SRC? And please note that the Q11 does not support MQA decoding.

You need to enable exclusive mode in the music playing APP of the mobile phone.

I'm assuming the sampling rate is the bitrate. If so, Tital does not provide that info. And I did of search of what SRC is, but not even Google search provides the information.

The dinky little cable works, but no other cables will work. I have asked FiiO if they sell a longer cable that will work. I have not received a reply.

There is an exclusive mode in Amazon Music on my PC. But switching it on doesn't change the FiiO amp color. My Windows 11 PC shows this data information: 32 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio quality). I have "HD/UltraHD" enabled in the Amazon Music PC app.

Very few albums available at bit rate above 48 kHz, try "Loreena McKennitt – An Ancient Muse" for example, its 96 kHz for sure

Problem solved on the PC. I have to manually set the bitrate in the PC system sound menu option for the FiiO that shows up when it is connected and powered on. Then I have to restart the PC to get sound to work. FiiO amp light is now yellow. I have the PC system sound menu bitrate set to 32 bit, 96000Kh
