I emailed Integral's customer service if their SSD drive had a Phison chip, and they were happy to confirm this.
Manufacturer's responses to my inquiry on the chips in their 128gb Micro SD Cards:
PNY (P-SDUX128U1-GE):
The part you linked is for a micro SD card, the micro SD card does not have a USB controller, it does have an SD controller however we do not provide which company provides the component as it is confidential information.
Samsung (MB-MP128DA/AM):
All of our products are made with proprietary controllers. We do not outsource any of our parts and cannot share the specific details of our controllers.
Lexar (LSDMI128BBNL633R):
Thank you for contacting Lexar Support. Unfortunately, the information you requested is proprietary and our Marketing Department will not release it. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Sandisk (SDSDQUAN-128G-G4A):
This card works on SD 2.0 and UHS-1 bus controllers not on the USB bus controllers. However, if you connect this card to a host using a USB card reader then the SD card would be read over the USB controller through the card reader. If you would use this card in the Micro SD card slot of FiiO X3 2nd gen then it will work for sure:

However, we cannot comment if you will be able to read it on your FiiO X3 2nd gen if connected through the USB card reader using the OTG cable.
