Doesn’t that erase all the data on my sd card ? That would be a real pain in the ass to reload . I guess I could pop the sd card out before I do it .

No it doesn’t, just internal memory, it will reload tidal to the newest version and you will be good. Or you can pop the card out also to be extra safe

You will have to put some settings back in but no worries.

Dear friend,

Please try to do a factory restore from settings menu and try again.

Or you could enter settings- general -apps-tidal -clear data. Then restart the Tidal APP.

Best regards

@FiiO will there be a way to connect to wifi captive portals in the future?

Dear friend,

Do you mean the Wifi that requir a login?

You can install the es file explorer, after connecting to the wifi, launch es file explorer and access an Internet site e.g. google, it will redirect you to the wifi login page.

Best regards

Can the next firmware please update Qobuz? (It operates very slowly)

Also, I am unable to delete downloaded music on Qobuz.

A question - in USB dac mode - is the M9 LDAC transmission the top quality version? (990 kbps)

And does the M6 do the same?

Good afternoon FiiO,
I am not sure if you know abot the bug in the FiiO Music app (I guess so because the file system doesn't show this).
The german umlauts and characters in the tags are shown as chinese characters:

Thank you for your effort!

True, somebody reported this for accented characters in Spanish titles (é, á and also ñ). I think it all relates to some issue with Unicode text handling in the modified Android version in M6.
Definitely this doesn't happen in my Android Phone's FiiO app (Screenshot below from my Moto G5 phone).. The strange thing is the file manager in M6 shows the characters without issues, it seems.

I wonder if the Music App in M6 is any different from the one in the Play Store (a special version for the M6).
