FiiO M6-FiiO releases the new firmware 1.0.2 for M6

Does anyone else have problems accessing the fiio.com website? I'm based in the UK and can never get on the site. The connection times out EVERY time. I've been trying to get to the Fiio Link tutorial for days.

I've had Fiio link working perfectly using a BT connection on the latest M6 firmware release but now my phone (Google Pixel 2 XL) connects with the M6 and after 2 or 3 seconds the connection closes.
So I tried Fiio Link over WIFI with my phone as a hotspot but that's not working either. Could someone post the Fiio Link tutorial here (or send via PM) ? This is frustrating because the last time I used Fiio Link
it worked like a dream.

For FiiO Link Wifi function, you could try the method below:

1. Make sure this device and your mobile phone are connected to the same WiFi network.
2. Enter the FiiO Music APP(player's)-setting-FiiO Link- three dots icon at the top right, switch to WiFi option. Then switch on the Server option. And you will see a IP address at that time.
3. Install the latest FiiO Music APP in your mobile phone.
For Android device:
Enter the FiiO Music APP-setting-FiiO Link- three dots icon at the top right, switch to WiFi option. Then switch on the Client option.
For iOS device:
Enter the FiiO Music APP-setting-FiiO Link
4. Input the ip address in the pop up dialog.
5. FiiO Link is connected successfully!

Hi Fiio,

I recently got the M6 and I'm only using Spotify.
I found some issue with "song skipping" while the screen is on.
The volume for the next song goes up at start the after about 2-seconds will normalize.
This is only when screen is on, but if screen if off I have no issue skipping songs.

Is this normal?? I already reset the device and reinstalled spotify but the same.
Thanks for any advice.

Sorry to hear about that. Did you turn on the in-line remote control in audio settings of the audio settings? And please try another headphone or software and check whether the issue remains?

I finally fixed it, I tried to re install the app again because I remember some popup note about the equalizer which I neglected. And yes, it was the equalizer causing it so I just turned it off because the popup said EQ will affect tracks volume. Anyway I only EQ flat specially when using mojo. Now I can listen peacefully! LoL!

By the way, what is the latest spotify version?
Mine is 8.4.68.903 if this is old please give me a link to the new one.

You may try to download the apk file of the latest version in the Google play store first. Then copy the apk file of the qualified app to the M6, then open the File Management app, locate and click on the apk file to install it.

Do you have any information on when we could expect the next firmware release for the M6? is any development currently under way for the M6 or are you planning to leave the player as-is without updates?
