I use a Westone Um50pro which is really very sensitive, maybe this is the difference. I can also reproduce it when using with linux at volume 60 (on m5) and then 30% and below
in pulseaudio

As i have stated above with high sensitive headphones i hear a hum but nothing very annoying.

I just reflashed 1.3.0 to confirm it. It is very noticeable, if I would have access to my main gear, i would probably be able to even record the difference with my soundcard but I am currently not home.

Also the UM 50 Pro is more sensitive than the EX1 but it should probably not matter

I am hearing the noise with the FH7 and not with the EX1.

Noise clicks/pop play/stop sound right channel on sennheiser ie 40 pro, fiio f9 pro, fh1, westone um pro 30. No noise sennheiser hd 599, beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro. I think a program error.

I don’t think it’s broken, otherwise there were squeaks throughout the music. Why there is no noise or stationary acoustics on high headphones.

Are you on 1.3.0? If yes, downgrade to 1.2.0 and try again

The noise is audible only with low ohm high sensitivity headphones.
And I don't think it's software , it's hardware related.
This player is not to be expected to be dead silent , can't be!

Hello, I have a question. I would like to use the M5 for running and want to know if there is any way to fast forward or rewind the player without using the touchscreen? Wondering if there are button combinations that would work?
