Fiio m3 offially support 64gb and 4000 files in tag browsing. With 128gb it can works sort of in folder mode but it's possible you have glitches.

I mean it's a Sandisk Ultra 128GB card, one of the brand leaders when it comes to memory and storage. There isn't a device in the world it won't work with as long as it has an SD or microSD slot. There really isn't any reason I can see why it's not being recognised other than hardware limitations and the player literally not being capable of working with cards greater than 64gb in storage, in which case it's of no real use to me.

Dear friend,

Sorry to hear about that. Can your M3 be turned on after charging for a while?

Best regards

Well I tried to even see something yesterday with several different charging cables but never got any response either off my laptop USB in or wall chargers! I'll let it stay plugged in for several hours today and see if it comes back to life. Appreciate the response.

Been on the charger for 3 hours now and still deader than a doorknob! Bummer as I had it looking sweet like an old Woody Wagon, crazy thing is I bought a black one for Wokei and his still works just fine:confused:

M3 should be good enough for my ears? I listen rock and hiphop on my soundmagic e80 iem?
For your ears? Certainly. The M3 has excellent sound quality, very close to the X1, some even prefer it. It's slightly warmer than my iPod but very very close, I have to listen critically to tell the difference.
Pros? Outstanding battery life. Great sound. Easy folder navigation. Tiny. :)
Downsides? Can't see the screen in bright daylight, very basic (but usable) UI, EQ is not usable to be honest, 64GB card size maximum officially supported (but some people have used bigger, but it's a gamble).
I use mine every day. And would replace it if I lost it.

Hi @FiiO
We all know how busy you are with the new models, but here's hoping that you get the time to do a last 2.0 firmware for this great little player. :)
A new theme, maybe for simplicity just adapt the orange stock theme with a new colour? And fix the "automatically starts after unplugging USB cable" bug.. please.
Still rate this thing highly - battery life is superior to anything else it's size. Would be great to have it "finished". :)

since i updated to aune m1s and zishan, everytime i go back to M3 I feel the sound is digital, harsh and lack resolution, very bad, even compare to my cheapo android phone I'd say it tries to be better but get more tiring very easily. Weird?
