First Impressions Post Time:
It's packaged very nicely, slipped my Micro SD in and it's currently doing a Media lib update. I have over 10k files (mostly flac) So it's taking a few minutes, if you have larger libraries set it to update and go do something else for a few minutes. Once it finally did i set the date and time on it. As for sound it is clear enough, though i want to clarify I am not a major audiophile, but i know it's not muffled, or too tinny. to me its fairly balanced. Shuffling all of my music and tapping (or swiping) for the next song is fairly snappy as well. It has crashed Once so far, during shuffling 16k songs. Album art doesnt have the same lag that the M3K has, though id suggest keeping any embedded album art under 1000x1000. Speaking of, if you have any cover.jpg in any folders, the Gallery will pick them up. Album art also seems to be more supported than the M3k and also the Rockbox port for it. If you have playlists premade it doesnt seem to support them, It cant find the files in the playlist, the M3K had this issue too and there's a rather annoying fix for it, too. Lock screen controls work snappier than when the screen is unlocked. I am going to stop here, but Keep in mind this is out of the box, with no updates. I'm gonna go and check to see if there are any updates for this device.
