I hope so too because my order from May 12th still hasn’t shown any progress, and I’m thinking of contacting my bank next week to request a refund.
Waiting 2 weeks for delivery is not serious, and then another 2 to 4 weeks for shipping—that’s already a whole month. I might as well have ordered it from AliExpress.
For what it’s worth I requested a refund from HiFiGo and they refunded me within 10 minutes

So in order to change battery you need take off screen first, well, I don’t really like that.
Nope, if you have carefully watch the whole video, you can see that they remove the screen first but then they do the same for the backplate, where the battery is...

Really impressive build and it comes preinstalled with a glass screen protector from the Factory?
yes, the screen protector has been pasted in M21 from the factory.

Yes, but it looks like that connector for battery is on opposite side of battery, under the screen.
Ahhhhh... something I didn't see 😬

can someone explain the best method, with examples of products if possible, to connect this DAP to a headphone amp? i use schiit asgard 3, the DAP has 4.4 balanced and 3.5 coax outputs that are headphone sockets, as well as usb-c for data / power at the other end. i've ordered cheap usb-c and 3.5 (stereo?) to dual RCA outputs, as well as a slightly better 4.4 balanced to RCA so far. can't be sure of the coax options, or if usb-c is viable, or which is overall the best likely method.

fwiw, i have filo's recent FT1 pro which seems to have a balanced end with it. the asgard 3 doesn't have a balanced output i know of. what stumps me is if balanced to an amp that isn't providing a balanced output is actually carrying a better signal than the other options. i'd also like to know for any future possible change or upgrade of the amp or DAC (24 bit schiit modi, currently) to see if i would get any benefit from balanced outputs.

You won’t get an audible benefit using balanced out (from dap) to Asgard 3.5mm input. The balanced really just offers more power at these equipment levels. Balanced is also a convenience thing, if you have higher quality (see ahem audiophile) cables then you can share cables between desktop and portable gear more easily also.

Chord Mojo has 3.5mm out only from the Factory and it’s equal to at a minimum and much better sonically to a lot of ears than most entry level Daps which this one in this thread is.

3.5 to RCA inputs will be fine in line out mode.

Asgard likes 2V input and M21 gives 1.9V output in line out mode according to some specs. Thats close enough.

As for future DAC upgrades, yes if you get a higher quality DAC to support higher end transducers then you can just use the usb-c output of the Dap to bypass the DAC inside the dap, you are using the dap as a transport at that point. I’ve found that you have to scale up pretty high to surpass some of this newer gear to my ears but it’s really about mixing and matching components to get the sound I like best.

balanced 4.4mm from the M21 to asgard's RCA input's. it doesn't have a balanced output on the asgard. just wondering if inputting via balanced cable to the RCA sockets is different to 3.5 coax from the M21 to the RCA.

You might destroy the M21's output trying to do that. And there is absolutely no benefit as well.
Never send a BAL output signal, to an UNBAL input, you will short both L and R (out-) signals to the ground of the amp. If it has no balanced input, you must simply use unbalanced standard cable (ie 3.5mm to RCA).
