In the realm of over ear enhanced mode via battery ... I have to say, wow. :xf_eek: If the specs of this are real, that is.

This would give more than enough enhanced over ear mode play time on battery than any typical user would need in a day.

Do note, use of the battery pack alone would destroy your M17. You must also use the provided 12V dc-dc converter too.

For someone who only needs a couple of hours over ear enhancement mode at a time, this seems like a good candidate, instead. I really like the voltage selectability too; not to play around, w/the M17, just for flexibility for other uses.

Imagine jerryrigging a case with in built fan AND battery for enhanced over ear mode on the go.

Anyways I'm using both with roon via ASIO + HQplayer, so its unnecessary right now. But FiiO should get he recognition of get some of their products with the roon ready tag

Hello Gents,

I wanted to provide a cautionary tale if any of you are looking to order from the Fiio @FiiO store on AliExpress. I had a pretty bad experience with them and wanted to share so you can make a educated decision if you are looking to purchase a Fiio product you may want to find a different sales channel other than the Fiio Store on AliExpress.

Kb-1 (thankfully low cost item) arrived partially defective. Only 1 usb port was working and I reported the same day the item arrived. There was no additional direction / communication from the seller (official @FiiO store ) on what proof they needed to verify that the device was not working as designed. Instead they offered no refund or a replacement item. The responses to me were rude and without any understanding of the situation. I have over $5k of Fiio products but this experience really makes me wonder if I will ever purchase another item from Fiio via AliExpress or walk away from the brand all together. Yes it was a super low priced item but imagine if this was a big ticket item with the same outcome. Think twice before you hit that purchase button, you are on your own if the device has issues upon arrival and this practice is obviously supported by @FiiO as this is their official store / sales channel.

FYI the KB-1 is the 3 button w/knob keyboard for the M17 and like DAPS for @FiiO. Made and branded by @FiiO

We checked again in the Aliexpress background. My colleague asked you to tried another usb cable first then Aliexpress handled the dispute after that. We did not notice futher update when Aliexpress in charge of the dispute and refuse your requirement at that time.

I value your response. Please note that I shared with your collegue that I was using the branded Fiio cable and tried 3 other usb c (android specific) cables with all the same results. Then I got automated replies directly from Fiio with no additional information other than, refund / replacement denied. No request for photos, videos or any other troubleshooting suggestions. This is merely an FYI as I accept the resolution you provided but it should not have to get to this point where people have to publicly call the company out. Please read the exchange of comments within the official @FiiO store channel with AliExpress. Thank you for the resolution.
