So I have ARC working on the M17 but strangely the M17 appears to be upscaling some recordings from 44k to 96k.I will if I can get ARC to work on my M17.

If you don't need it to leave your desk, then a K9 Pro makes more sense than an M17, IMO. Or, if you want it to have its own screen, etc... wait for the R7 that is supposed to come out later this year (I think).Hi all,
I'm a bit lost...
I'm looking for a new setup for my office, as a DAC/AMP to be used with TIDAL and QOBUZ
I just saw the Fiio M17. I understood that is going to be complicated to "transport" it, so it should be considered to stay on site.
I have 3 headphone ( Meze 99, Molded IEM Earsonics EM4 and a Senheiser HD599)
I'm still reflecting if it's better to take the M17 or the K9 Pro Ess wich is, on the paper in average, the same.
Sorry if it's a duplicate, but I didn't manage well the search option of the forum
Thank you
that's what I think for the K9, 'cause I use my computer for the streaming. Thanks for your quick replyIf you don't need it to leave your desk, then a K9 Pro makes more sense than an M17, IMO. No, the R-series is a new product line for FiiO, the first model of which will be the R7. It’s not portable at all - it’s a desktop unit, but it has a large screen and Android interface built into it, too. Think of a box on your desk that has a DAP taped to the front of it, with some additional knobs alongside the screen.that's what I think for the K9, 'cause I use my computer for the streaming. Thanks for your quick reply
You're talking about the Q7 when you advise me to wait the R7, or it's going to be something completly different ?
Alright I just checked it on internet too. Here, I found this photo of it online (there are others):
This is the most exciting thing I've ever heard. I'm trading my A&K SP1000M just so I can watch Off The Air on my Apple TV and listen with my LCD-5.Yes, but there’s quite a bit of lagging and lip syncing is off . There’s no lagging problems when connecting to an Apple TV box via airplay.
where did you buy?Btw, got myself this cable for easier fan on/off control. Awesone thing.
Got this one - https://m.aliexpress.com/item/4000292934300.html?spm=a2g0n.order_detail.0.0.7b35f19cEHuU2Ywhere did you buy it?
This has now been corrected, there’s now no lagging when watching YouTube. This is the most exciting thing I've ever heard. I'm trading my A&K SP1000M just so I can watch Off The Air on my Apple TV and listen with my LCD-5.
I would go for number 3Received FiiO M17 and FiiO PL50 today. What is the correct connection sequence?
Initial state - everything is off.
Option number 1): 1. move the lever on the player to DC; 2. turn on the power supply, 3. turn on the player.
Option number 2): 1. turn on the power supply; 2. we translate the lever on the player to DC; 3. turn on the player.
Option number 3): 1. turn on the power supply; 2. turn on the player; 3. we translate the lever on the player to DC.
Or does it not matter?
