It is stable, but I don't feel the force I usually feel, nor the sound I usually hear, when plugging a 6.35 connector to my other devices.
It's maybe just a feeling...but I will go 4.4mm instead.

Interesting, especially about sound. Did you A/B with 3.5mm input? Of course, there's a difference of output between SE and balanced, but between 3.5 and 6.35, I'd expect same result.

Guys just got it. Playing with it.

When connecting to my dlna sever from the fiio app, dsd files play wrong, like in slow motion and noise... Any thoughts?

Almost done burning the player for 30+ hours. The tonality has turned more balanced and the mids sound so transparent, yet so natural and slightly musical.
The SS remains huge, but the imaging has improved a bit over the last few hours.

If your not planning on launching the additional stands and power supplies for a while, could you please share the specifications of the mains power supply required to power the M17 so we can source third party ones quicker?

I already bought a ifi ipower elite as power supply which seems to bring some nice improvements to the sound compared to the stock power supply (something like faster and clearer low frequencies impacts ?)

Yes ... stock is 12V3A, Ifi is 12V4A .. the connector is a standard a 5.5mm/2.1mm

As it's difficult to make a perfect A/B comparison, I won't claim that it's 100% sure, but I was surprised, as I don't really trust in the pseudo cleaning power systems, I was feeling the ifi unit was bringing improvements, so I kept it and didn't return it to amazon.

The M17 + ifi iPower Elite + DCA Stealth is really what I was looking for years .. I bought so many portable AMPs and DAPs that were not really satisfying, that I was a bit hopeless .. this year end is a really different, as things are really changing now for people who like music but still want to be free to move where they want in their house, garden, office, trains, planes.
