I got curious about the “do not charge” setting and decided to plug in the M15 with it enabled, it seems to be powering its self from the wall.
One hour and battery has stayed at 86%

I’m sure I had seen something by Jamesfiio on a Chinese site about using a psu and the m15 but I can’t find it now, if anyone can find that I would be very interested

It would be nice if you could isolate the battery / charging system for folks that wanted to use it as a DAC in a non portable system. So it wouldn't ruin the battery.

It’s been a couple hours now and the battery % still hasn’t changed.
Even if it’s just trickle charging you can leave the battery at 80% and it would function very similar to Hugo 2 in desktop mode.

anybody got a favorite supplier for 4.4mm adapters... non of my headphones have 4.4 connectors...
DD Hifi makes the smallest ones I’ve found. Also I recommend changing your termination to one of the various awesome plug knock offs so you can change connectors whenever.

If i remember right , SE output uses only 1 Dac..(correct me if this is wrong for the M15) if i buy a device with dual dac.. i want to use its full potential .. and 2nd .. all my upgrade cables are 4.4.. sure could use an adapter..

If I understand correctly as a mere end user.

The sound quality is the same whether using 1 ak dac chip or not. The difference comes down the noise floor. The implementation of two chips can reduce that further to reduce hiss.

If you are not using extremely picky iems, then you will notice a difference.

Hey guys, forgot to tell you that I have posted my M15 reviews yesterday.
I also compared it with M11 PRO and with Sony NW-WM1Z. Enjoy! :L3000:

Swipe top to bottom and you will see the "over-ear mode"
Here it is, at 05:17 mark:

Been thinking of getting a dap for my legend x customs You think m11pro would be a better chocie over the m15 ? ( coming from dx200 )

That thing looks so thick, it would probably be a nightmare for my glasses. I probably need to stick to my Superbax cables.

Now if they could make a Superbax with interchangeable terminations.

Oooh, where can I learn more about that changeable termination thing?
Search awesome plug on Lunashop or Aliexpress and see related items and you'll get an idea of the current 4-5 different types of plugs on the market. I solder my own, but one can buy it and find someone professional who can do the it for them.

My personal favorite is this and I have several cables terminated using that. Pros are the connectors are large and weighty and the joints are very easy to solder. Only con would be the height of the right angle is sometime too cumbersome.

I also added a set to the IEMatch 2.5 to be able to use it in balanced 4.4mm or SE. Also having a set on a 4 pin XLR pigtail is a good idea as well since it then becomes an all in one adapter.
