A firmware patch to enable Google Play store in M11/M11PRO/M15 based on the SoC used--Samsung 7872

Download link: http://fiio-file.fiio.net/Google_Play_Update.zip

How to update: Copy the firmware package file to the internal memory or micro SD card; Open "Technical Support" app on the M11/M11PRO/M15->enter the "Firmware Update" menu->select the firmware package file to upgrade.

Note: The Google Play partial library will prompt for updates after connecting to the Wifi for the first time. Restart it so that you could use it normally.

What can be done if receiving 'the device is not certified' in Google Play?

Currently, Google has closed the channel of GMS certification for Android 7.0 devices. So you will be prompted that the device is not certified. You can register your device by following the steps below:
(The deivce without certification could use Google Play normally still, but some apps with high security requirements could not be searched. )

1. Install the DeviceID.apk

2. Click it to get the 'Google Service Framework' and then copy it

3. Go to the following website and fill in the ID copied from step 2
https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/

If you have any questions or advices, please post in this thread or send an email to support@fiio.com

Best regards
FiiO I LOVE YOU!!! :clap::vulcan::couple_with_heart::heart_eyes:

Looks like we still need native hardware support. DSD is software converted to PCM and fed to the Android audio subsystem. The same thing also confirmed with Neutron player. Or am I doing something wrong here (there was an app for DX200/220 which enabled using the native hardware like a USB DAC):

That also means that the previously mentioned DSD512 playback support which @edwardsean mentioned is actually not true, as I see also the Neutron player is doing PCM conversion for all DSD files.

I did, but didn't get it about that extractor thing...

- Install the UAPP on your mobile
- Search for a 'APK extractor' application and install it.
- Run the APK extractor and select UAPP. It will save UAPP APK file on your storage device
- Copy the extracted APK file to your M15 and run it.

I don't if I'm wrong bit I thought that the full support DSD512 etc is when using Fiio music mode, similar to mango on dx200/220. I'm sure I had the same issue with the Ibasso in regards to this. Obviously UAPP changes this so that it's possible in Android mode.
This would mean that like Ibasso it's nots untrue just not possible without using pure music mode or UAPP
