I'd love to see a comparison between this and the Cayin N6ii once review samples get out into the wild. I suppose that holds true for Shanling's M6 as well, whenever that gets a release. The DAP race is getting real competitive...

I like to use Spotify - Tidal and soundcloud sometimes. I like to root and install viper4android. I can't live without viper4android. That dynamic sound you have with rooted devices is for me the best of all and above all. You can even tune the sound attacks dynamics

If this sounds anything like the q5s + am3d module it will be neutral and very dynamic and clear. If you like a warmer sound sig, it might not be your cuppa.

Tbh, I’m more of a fan of Cayin and Shanling when it comes to their respective “house sounds”. In the past, FiiO has led with their audiophile UX but has stepped up their game in the sound quality department recently. It’s exciting to see since it means that Cayin and Shanling now have to get better with their UX to compete with the relative big fish that is FiiO.
Possible Fiio M11Pro Stainless Steel Version
M11Pro will meet you at the Guangzhou Headphones Show tomorrow. At the same time, the stainless steel version of M11Pro will be exhibited too. Some people who saw the real M11Pro SS were very excited. If the feedback is good, we will consider a limited production batch. The ETA will be in November, and the price will be about USD130 higher than the standard version.
I will buy the M11 Pro Stainless Steel Version with upgrade fron FA7 to FH7 . I love your products. Currently im using Fiio Q5 stock with FA7 stock cable.
