I went from 1.02 which was what was installed at factory to 1.03 so it was incremental.

OK. Just trying to help as it's a mystery why mine works perfectly with Roon and the FiiO Music app and yours doesn't. I would still suggest a local firmware update if you haven't already tried.

Noticing the Roon Lock Screen notification doesn’t update it sticks on the one you started playing. Controls work but the now playing does not update track being played and the duration is all wrong. @FiiO can we get your support to look at this please?

Also can’t register the Fiio app it crashes after putting in my code.

2. Can you register the account in the FiiO Music app in Android mobile phone instead? And if you are using the app in M11 Plus only, you don't need the account. The account is mainly for user to subscribe the MQA function in Android mobile phone.

My lock screen for Fiio Roon has the same behaviour (no title refresh), while the lock screen from Roon remote acts normally.

I think I figured out what's been happening. If you are playing a playlist, the Lock Screen notification stays updated. If you are playing an album, it stays stuck on the first track. I mostly listen to playlists and that's why I wasn't seeing this...

Hmmm that’s a big bug should update regardless, I hardly ever use playlists.

Should be easy for the technicians to at least mimic this behaviour and fix it.

I’m coming from an iPod classic to the m11 plus. Still haven’t decided if I’ll keep it. You can definitely download and use Apple Music, but it’s only useful if you are a paid subscriber. Which I’m not and don’t wanna be.

I was bummed that I can’t upload my own files and scan them into the apple music player like I can with an apple device. Apparently with anything non apple you have to pay for the subscription service, upload your own files to the cloud and then populate your android Apple Music player via the cloud.

I am not sure if you can just pay for a month and do this and then unsubscribe. Maybe someone else can chime in. But you’d still not be able to update as you acquire new music.

But if you’re asking about Apple Music streaming. Yes you can download and use it like normal as far as I know.

I have gotten used to the poweramp player and I’m liking it. I had to redo a lot of id3 tag stuff and work I lost in my library in iTunes but the player is fantastic once you take the time to get it all setup correctly. Took me nearly two hours just to get it to work without glitching/stuttering. The sheer amount of settings is ridiculous.. But it’s operating pretty seamlessly now.

Yes, Apple Music works just fine on the M11 Plus and M11S (Snapdragon SOC). It does not work on the M11 and M11 Pro (Exynos SOC).
