Same issue with with this beta version. In the BlackPlayer App the Artworks are displayed normally. So it's not about my files. But of course I can send you some of my music files if that helps you.
Here I show you as sample the album "Franks wild years " from Tom Waits, how it looks like in the BlackPlayer and the FiioPlayer App.

ebay or our marketplace really. They seem to discontinue crap pretty fast these days and the availability with these new units sucks. The M11 was replaced by the M11 Plus which was released in May and it's only been a couple months and no one even has them in stock anymore.

Well that sucks. I wonder when they'll be back in stock. It seems many DAPs are sold from China and take a long time to reach the US. Even headphones dot com only has the cayin and sr25 for k&a that are within a reasonable price. I'm looking for a DAP in the $400 range

I had the little brother to it and I loved it for the few years I had it. I only upgraded to the Fiio because I liked it's features and it had Android on it. If I waited a bit longer for the Sony to release theirs I probably would have just gone that route given the stupid issues I've had with my Fiio.
If you don't care about Android then the versions below it are good, their UI is pretty straight forward and I didn't mind it at all. The only 2 issues i had with my Sony was the proprietary connection on the cable which in this day and age is pretty draconian and it scanned files every time I turned it on instead of holding the database in it's memory, but that version has long since been replaced.

since I made the last update my cover art is not displayed on the play now screen and scrolling in the albums only 50% of the album art is shown (and the loading time is very slow). How can I fix this issue?
Mine has been having the same issue with artwork not showing up - didn't happen in previous versions. Also, scanning my cards now has tracks show up as 01 ________ instead of the proper song title, which is also a new issue.
Will be downgrading to the latest version, which is I think 3.0.3. Is there no 3.0.4?

Good to know that I'm not the only one having this issue. Downgrading will help. Me for now I use the latest version with the VU Meter
1. A way to display the artwork combined with the VU Meter and showing the left and the right channel separately
2. It would be useful to be able to make 90 degrees steps with the screen rotation setting. Some media players are not displaying videos horizontally (full screen)..

UAPP on M11 is really worth the $10 .. fully functional even DAC is used in hires mode, with a very good PEQ which can be applied to Qobuz, Upnp servers or any providers (Tidal, etc), so it is far better than Fiio music player.

Tried the Trial player and at the top of the M11 it was showing 192K even though upsampling was turned off no matter which track I played ( same result whether Bit Perfect was selected or not )
That was a similar experience to the Poweramp being a fixed bit rate.
Also noticed track titles take about 20 seconds+ to update when they change, small annoyance but definitely not as instantaneous as the FiiO player or Poweramp. This happens when the track changes to the next track itself, not when the user presses next track icon - it changes almost straight away when the user changes tracks.
One other thing, it kinda grates that you have to pay top ups for functionality within the app. I understand the reasons, I don’t agree with the implementation
Shame. Unless someone can explain or circumvent the above issues, think I will have to stay with FiiO.
Is there an easy way of extracting all the embedded lyrics from the metadata of files to creat an lrc file that the FiiO player can read ?
I know Poweramp just reads the embedded lyrics but the FiiO player requires a separate file in the same folder as the music file. I have 13,000 tracks so wanted an app to extract in a batch not manually go through individually
