It's absolutely lovely. My case fits perfectly. The only complaint I have is the opening is on the top so when I push a plug in, the device slips out of the case a little bit if I'm not holding it. It's not a big deal to push it back in so it's not much of a complaint at all. But the player fits quite snug. It's loose enough that taking it out isn't difficult but snug enough that it won't come out unless I want it to.

I gotta say, I've been getting a LOT of flack from people about the clear case, asking if I'm holding a cassette tape or something. This looks far nicer and feels much more comfortable in the hand. You'll be extremely happy

Maybe it's worth to give a try, my old Fiio DAPs (X5iii and X7ii) have leather cases bundle, both cases were not that bad (at least for me).

Legally, no. I know two sites that have two different DSD versions, though. One's from the 2003 SACD, the other is a vinyl rip of the second issue Harvest pressing from the UK (1973). Pretty sure I can't post either in the thread...

I actually like the leather case. It's similar to the one for my Shanling M2X and fits well. Yes, you have to put a finger on top when plugging in your headphones, but I don't see that as an issue. I didn't pay anything for it as I got it as part of the promotion Fiio is running, so win-win either way.

I didn't pay anything for it as I got it as part of the promotion Fiio is running, so win-win either way.

The leather case is not bad, I wish it were a bit tighter at the top but even for 20 bucks or whatever it looks and feels nicer than the tpu one. The tpu one fits better and covers the top, but looks cheap and gets greasy feeling after a while. Oh and it's fake leather, but so was the 90 dollar one I bought for my ak sr15.
