[FiiO KA17] Mini desktop-class amp, flagship dongle is officially released!

I use it with an always plugged-in Win 10 laptop, and it turns off immediately once the PC is shut down or sleeping and the power is cut at the power strip).
However, this only works with USB-A; despite my best efforts, the USB-C connection keeps it, and other dongles too, awake constantly.
As a side note, enabling USB Selective suspend setting might also help.

Good news here, when the monitors turn off, the USB ports on the monitors go to sleep mode after a period of time and stop sending power, therefore, the KA17 also turns off. I just tried it.

Not the case for me, unfortunately. Is your experience the same when listening on YouTube, for instance?
Oh never tried on youtube, but on foobar with exclusive mode, before update, there was always a second of gap when starting music, so the music would start at 00.01 second, this happened too when skip/forward to next one.

After the new update, the silence gap is gone.

Here in Italy is already avaiable.
Are you sure that it is v3.22 and not v3.21?
Does the app say v3.22?

My app says "v3.21 the latest version".
And my Google Play Store says "v3.21" as well.

@FiiO
Could you please comment on the app version in the Google Play Store?
Is it v3.22 or v3.21 still?
My Google Play Store definitely says v3.21 only.

Still cutting off the first 0.1s for me, too.

Sure, 27 April, v3.22.

First I installed the version from the Fiio website as an update. Then it became incompatible with the April 27 version of the Play Store. Here in Italy i can confirm, no problem. I just had to delete the downloaded version from the site due to incompatibility.

Still cutting off the first 0.1s for me, too.

To be fair, they didn't list this in the update notes, so ultimately, not a surprise, really. I just hope they do figure something out for this because this is not a "natural" way of things, that is, other dongles don't do this. They are also differently engineered though, so if I had to go guess, this issue is unique to the architecture or system FiiO uses.

Possibly a regional rollout thing… I am a US user and did not get the option to update the app yet, and as of day before yesterday I am in France and also don’t have an update option yet, so UK may have an option before others.
3.22 APK is in the link I posted above.

You need to uninstall any previous version of the control app and install it directly from the link above.

A lot of dongles do cut off the first 0.1s
FiiO KA17, Shanling UA4, iBasso DC06Pro, TempoTec Sonata BHD Pro all do.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the implementation and/or configuration of DAC automute.

But: iBasso DC04Pro does not cut off anything. So if this is important to you, I suggest iBasso DC04Pro.
