no no no, i think you're missing the point - the previous numbers you listed had SE and BAL values flipped i believe - there is no chance single-ended 6.35mm has 1700mw power while 4.4mm bal has 930
Dear friend,

We checked again with the engineer. The data is correct.
You will find there is a condition: THD+N<1%. When using with 16Ω balanced headphone, the temperature will get high and THD+N<1% will be reached easlier.

Best regards

Has anyone managed to buy Psu Fiio PL50 120v?
It has been out of stock for months and FiiO does not restock.
The K7 Red was launched months ago and until today it has not been put up for sale, everything is with many months delay, does anyone know the reason for this?

If anyone knows of a used pl50 120v pm please.

@FiiO
Dear friend,

If everything goes well, PL50 110V edition will be in stock again at about October.

Best regards

I'm curious. What's the best quality for plugging in a DAP? 3.5mm to coaxial. Or USB c to USB b? Output is unbalanced headphones.
I’d choose USB, not because it sounds better than a S/PDIF over coaxial, but because can get higher sample rates.

Hi, I`m having a little bit of trouble with the k7. I can`t, for the life of me, make the sound go to the speakers that I put behind. I mean... I can hear a very low volume audio coming out, but it`s just too low. The speakers work perfectly fine with my tv, but not with the fiio. help?

Please provide us with more information so that we can help you. Make and model of source and speakers, and type of connection between source and DAC and DAC and speakers (assuming the speakers are active).

May I assume those are powered speakers? I use powered speakers daily. Generally, I keep PC volume at max, and set K7 volume to about 70%.

Dear friend,

Your speaker is active or passive speaker? The K7 could not drive the passive speaker directly.

Best regards

@FiiO
There are two problems that people were facing in the Original K7 1) Linear Volume Control and 2) Firmware issues - Did you guys keep these things in mind while designing the K7BT?
Always amazes me that people, especially those new to head-fi, ask questions that have already been answered in the thread. Search and read before asking and you may find the information you are looking for.

Well, I didn't find the answer after searching. Instead of writing Two sentences, you could've said Yes/No & it always amazes me that people, especially those old to head-fi have to flex all the time.
