Excellent review and just to add on to my earlier comments regarding pad rolling, I’ve used stock, sheepskin angled, velour thick, velour flat, Fostex TH thin angled pads with attenuated insides and also removed the attenuated insides and a set of omni pads and finally tried the shure alacantara pads that are for the 1540’s but also fit the JH1’s and these are the outright winner and do them justice ! Yeah I know they are nearly the same price as the headphones themselves but not only are they more comfortable than all the rest they really do the JH’s justice and are a worthwhile purchase, so we’ve had dynamic open and planar open from Fiio and now the JH1’s ( semi open ) hopefully Fiio will release a closed back set in the price bracket of the FT3’s and 5’s, but for now you can’t go wrong with the JH’s at all, highly recommended

Really enjoying my FT5's. I have always liked the FiiO brand and figured that these would be a good value, if nothing else.
It turns out that they are much better than just a decent value. Running them since Saturday and just digging deeper and deeper into the music collection.
Very nice bass and while the mids are a bit recessed, they are still sounding wonderful.
Like most planar's, IME, I always want to turn them up.

How do I know whether my FT3 is 32 ohm or 350? Can’t see anything on the box, manual or FT3 itself.

It should be printed at the inside of the frame. How do I know whether my FT3 is 32 ohm or 350? Can’t see anything on the box, manual or FT3 itself.

Thank you. Mine indicates nothing, except the L/R markings on the center pivot. So I’m assuming it’s the original 350 ohm. Plus it’s hard to drive. It should be printed at the inside of the frame.

Not on the 350’sIt should be printed at the inside of the frame.
You can always meter them to be 100% sure I guess
