I noticed with stock FD5 cable are the preformed hooks can be just a little wide and sometimes can unhook from the ear. Therefore I'd appreciate more aggressively bended earhooks so that they would stay put behind the ear.

Other than that cable is perfect.

Just use the same construction as this one.
It is already very good.
May be you can offer pure UPOCC copper and a hybrid version.

+1 for a high (6n or 7n) purity copper cable, variant of the FD5 cable

No preformed earhooks as an option, please. As someone who wears glasses, I hate those. The cable is plenty soft to easily use with the cinch and stay in place.

I like the straight plug.

You can manually remove the hooks yourself though. But for those that want hooks there is not much we can do if they dont have it from the start.

Yes, I have done that on many cables, but it is a bit frightening trying to prevent damage to the wires on your expensive cable...

There are a lot of great budget options like the Tri Through, Faaeal litz copper, Kbear Rhyme.

Yes. I prefer cables without earhooks as I find them uncomfortable. Also, some of my IEMs are worn with cable straight down rather than around the ear.

A simple wire just works better overall IMO. I've never found a case where the earhook wires actually helped. I always have to mess with them constantly.

Two things, please!

1. I would love Fiio to make a cable that uses the LC-RE's interchangeable, right-angle connectors but with a less expensive OCC copper cable for around $100.

2. I'd also really love Fiio to make a set of 2.5, 3.5, 4.4mm straight connectors that could be used with the interchangeable connector system for around $20. That would give the user all the options they need from one cable.
