Hi, Can you share more information about this with me?I am FiiO vice president of headphones business.
Test configuration:
Player: A&K SR25
Cable: FiiO LC-2.5B
Bass test song: Kill Jill by Big Boi on Tidal. Focussing on the random low-bass rumbles throughout the song (after 33 secs).

The 4 ear tips that works/worked best for my ear shape.
FH3 ear tips.jpg

- Ear tip A: Stiff flange and too big to fit inside my ear canal. So, I just stuff it against the canal entrance to get a good pressure seal. Downside is, the treble/mids becomes recessed, makes my ear-ache and ruins my ear shape for other IEM tip seal.
- Ear tip B: Soft flange and fits inside my ear canal. Read below for how that worked quite well for several weeks.
- Ear tip C: Stiff flange and fits inside my ear canal. Fit nicely where the canal narrows, but slightly less bass response than tip B.
- Ear tip D: Stiff flange and fits inside my ear canal. Fit nicely where the canal narrows, but slightly less bass response than tip B. I think these are KZ's house-brand tips which I have never used on anything.
- Both tips C and D rescued FH3 when I had the imbalance with tip B. Closest I can guess is, my right ear canal is now slightly deformed from inflammation, infection etc. As such, will be trying ear tip B again in a few weeks time, hoping my right ear goes back to normal.

My impression of FH3 with tip B working properly:
"The FH3's sweet spot, for my ears, is the excellent mid & vocal presentation. The mids has a nice level of warmth without being suffocating nor too laid back. The treble and bass sections doesn't intrude when not required while supporting the mids nicely. But when needed, the bass/treble has an effortless & controlled presentation. It's probably not quite strong enough for bassheads nor trebleheads. .... As for the balance between bass and treble, to my ears, I would say it's more tilted towards bass performance than treble. It's has a less "humpy" bass frequency profile and possess less slam around mid-bass than BL-03 but can extend very low - possibly even lower than BL-03."
"To my ears, the bass is quite effortless & textured. Make sure you have a good seal with your ear tips. That made a big difference in SQ for me - from below-par SQ to good quality bass, mids and treble. Maybe the lower treble could be a touch less peaky; I am treble-sensitive, so that should be a non-issue for most anyone else."

Thank you for you reply. Can you tell me what The "The right-side lost all its Bass performance" was like before? Thank you again.

BEFORE losing right-side bass performance is described in my last para "My impression of FH3 with tip B working properly: "

AFTER losing right-side bass performance - the left-side still worked as per usual. The right-side's mid & treble sounded normal, while the bass was greatly reduced. Also I could not make the right-side's driver flex, while left-side still flexes when I pushed the IEM in tighter.

Btw, none of the supplied ear tips that came with FH3 worked for my ear. I can only imagine some mainstream customers without their own collection of ear tips may be disappointed with FH3's lack of bass from badly-fitted ear tips.

Does someone know where I can buy spares FiiO vocal eartips (transparent/red core)?
I really love the stock tips,
the closest one is the clear Final E tips, a bit stiffer but still comfortable.
