If you're having constant cutouts, then the answer is yes. But, if you have not had any incidents so far, then I would just not worry about it. Look at the male connector with a magnifier, you may be able to expand it a little more if needed with a plier — conditioned to your skills in doing so.
If you are unsure and it is easy for you to return, then just do it and avoid a headache down the road. But that's only my opinion. I hope the manufacturer can chime in before your return period ends.
For now I have no signal interruptions, but I am worried that in the long run there may be interruptions and contact issues.
Let's see what @FiiO answers, regarding the possibility of returning the FH19 due to this defect.
I just received the FH19 and noticed that the left channel MMCX connector is very loose and spins too easily, it practically can't stay still. Do you think this is a defect that would justify a return? @FiiO
EDIT: I found this video, maybe it's a solvable problem
EDIT 2: I have tried many times but it is impossible to do it without risking damaging the connector. And now what do we do? @FiiO
I had the same problem with the FA9, the first pair were tight while the second pair were loose, in general I prefer the tight fit but if they are a little loose it's fine too, the thing I hate is that one hook is tight and the other loose... in this case I get obsessive compulsive disorder

I'm kidding. As long as I don't have cutouts, the MMCX connector can rotate as loosely as can be, and I don't typically mind as well. Also, I confirm by applying a moderate traction without fully disconnecting the ends. That certainly helps minimizing my OCD.
By the way, my right FH7S has always been that way with the UTWS5. I do have cutouts these days but because another (sweating) reasons. And guess what? Warranty is also due.
At least FiiO cables are good. I purchased a fancy Sony cable once and I could not even get a connection with the FH9 in the right piece. Cable immediately worked on a little Shure I have here. It seems that the expanded connectors are not only on the male side, but also in the female ends as well. At least, based on what I observed with my gear.
Hi, if the loose MMCX connector does not affect the sound, you don't need to be too worried. But if it affect your normal usage, you could try to contact your seller for helps first. If the seller fails to help, please contact support@fiio.com with the receipt attached. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply. As I said, for now I have no problem, my concern is that over time there might be connector contact issues affecting the sound. I hope I'm lucky...
Well, that's so disappointing. I bought the FH9 + BTR17 combo as a present to myself for getting a promotion at work.
The FH9 are built like a tank no doubt. But having spent many hours working my way through my entire tip collection i had no choice but to send them back.
They're just too big & heavy to stay in my ears for more than a couple minutes. Even when i think they're in there, after 10 minutes i can feel them on the verge of falling out. I think the almost 13g of weight is just too much when reliant on the tips alone for retention.
I adore the sound they made. Just stunning when driven with the BTR17 + Tidal music.
Keeping the BTR17 as that's a lovely unit but bye bye to the FH9's. Back to using my FH5's which do fit nicely.

Them FH19 arrived I'm really enjoying the green filter paired with my Onix XM5 Overture they sound phenomenal for the money I paid in the AliX sale they are an bargain. I will say it was an absolute mission to get them out of the awful plastic tray. I guess foam must be expensive
Im really pleased they sound different to the FH9 which I also love they won't be retired anytime soon.
Yeah the FH19 are really nice and sometimes I think to myself that damn I really need that bass in my life. But the unique way Fiio smooths out the mids always gets to me.
While that colouration makes so nice for vocals sometimes a electronic track comes in and it feels like a big glaring hole between the sharp bass and treble.
Other than that one nitpick damn this is a good iem where Fiio was willing to take risks and it really paid off.
