Great job @FiiO ! this is the most fun iem I've owned the bass is lightning fast and slam so hard and the BA's does a great job on vocals and staging. This pretty much makes FH5 redundant

How's Amazon.de stock looking? Will I be able to order from there any time soon?
The FH3 is in Stock at fiio-shop.de.
Hiss? What source are you using with them? (no hissing with the balanced port on the DX160 at least.)I received my FH3 today and after an hour or two with them in my ears I am quite pleased. Nice amount of sub-bass and more bass than I expected it to have, very nice detail and clarity, but most of all I appreciate the outstanding vocal intimacy. Playing some Yutaka Yamakawa or Hiroshi Itsuki feels like they are singing just for you. The sound stage is a little weird, narrow, but somehow deep, like it recedes INTO your head. I love the cable, too. I'm getting some slight driver flex, but not nearly as bad as with the IT00. They unfortunately pick up hiss due to their sensitivity, but that can't be helped, though it doesn't get in the way of enjoying music.
Aune S6, my desktop dac/amp. I will have to try it with my BTR5, but I suspect it may be the same, with my PC just being noisy. There is no hiss when I have them connected to my phone. I should probably invest in a DAP.Hiss? What source are you using with them? (no hissing with the balanced port on the DX160 at least.)
But glad you liked it!
Oh jesus, seems to be around 20 OI!!!!Aune S6, my desktop dac/amp. I will have to try it with my BTR5, but I suspect it may be the same, with my PC just being noisy. There is no hiss when I have them connected to my phone. I should probably invest in a DAP.
Good, I would change your Aune S6 with something else lol. Maybe a Topping E30 + L30 stack?Yeah, there's no hiss from the BTR5 that I can hear. It's all good.
Hardest thing to do in this hobby lol.Yeah, I have plans to replace it, but I'm currently out of ready cash. I should start saving
Aune amps are great for many HPs, they just don’t play well with IEMs due to the high OI. Some Topping amps are terrible for IEMs also, like the DX7 Pro. For IEMs, I think a DAP or portable (or Bluetooth) DAC/Amp is the way to go. iFi Black Label amps, Mojo, EarStudio, etc. Or even a phone dongle.Yeah, I have plans to replace it, but I'm currently out of ready cash. I should start saving
Do keep in mind that the LZ A7 is coming very soon (next month: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/lz-...nd-reviews-thread.938134/page-8#post-15831164), but the A6/A7 should have different sound signatures so shouldnt be bad to get the A6 now.
