Ah, that's unfortunate, as it looks very much as if they aren't selling a lot of their newer IEMs through Amazon Germany at all.

I received my FH3 today and after an hour or two with them in my ears I am quite pleased. Nice amount of sub-bass and more bass than I expected it to have, very nice detail and clarity, but most of all I appreciate the outstanding vocal intimacy. Playing some Yutaka Yamakawa or Hiroshi Itsuki feels like they are singing just for you. The sound stage is a little weird, narrow, but somehow deep, like it recedes INTO your head. I love the cable, too. I'm getting some slight driver flex, but not nearly as bad as with the IT00. They unfortunately pick up hiss due to their sensitivity, but that can't be helped, though it doesn't get in the way of enjoying music.

Hiss? What source are you using with them? (no hissing with the balanced port on the DX160 at least.)

But glad you liked it!

Aune S6, my desktop dac/amp. I will have to try it with my BTR5, but I suspect it may be the same, with my PC just being noisy. There is no hiss when I have them connected to my phone. I should probably invest in a DAP.

Oh jesus, seems to be around 20 OI!!!!

https://www.audiosciencereview.com/... the value depends, impedance was about 20 ohm.

Every iem should hiss with that lol.

If you value the benefits of having a dap, like not using your phone battery and a high output power then sure its great and I love using a dap. But if not then a dongle or a Dac/amp is much cheaper and better for value.

Yeah, there's no hiss from the BTR5 that I can hear. It's all good.

Good, I would change your Aune S6 with something else lol. Maybe a Topping E30 + L30 stack?

Yeah, I have plans to replace it, but I'm currently out of ready cash. I should start saving :)

Aune amps are great for many HPs, they just don’t play well with IEMs due to the high OI. Some Topping amps are terrible for IEMs also, like the DX7 Pro. For IEMs, I think a DAP or portable (or Bluetooth) DAC/Amp is the way to go. iFi Black Label amps, Mojo, EarStudio, etc. Or even a phone dongle.

My first impression is the bass, wow. I’m no expert on IEMs but the first noticeable thing to jump out at me is these have bass. Deep, clean, noticeable bass. They dig deep to me. Never heard this much bass in earphones before.

As I listened more I began to notice more of a high end. Cymbals and tambourines were clear and more noticeable too. I don’t get that with my Shure earphones. They roll off much lower in the top end.

Mids are to my liking. No issues for me. I love what I’m hearing.

Sound stage is very good, not holographic or way outside of the head, but this is fine with me. As long as instruments are separated and definable I’m happy. These don’t disappoint. I don’t have or have heard other IEMs to do any meaningful comparisons to so this is just my first impression and findings. The more I listen the more I like. They are very enjoyable and musical. That and comfort are my main concerns. Again, these Fiio’s don‘t disappoint.

I haven’t experimented with tips, and I did notice some very noticeable simbilance while listening to Paul Simons Graceland. Not sure if it is the recording or the phones. I will re-evaluate again With my headphones to see if it is in the recording and compare. Overall I am very impressed and happy with these FH3’s. I have about 6 hours on them. I’m looking forward to many more hours and trying out some different genres. So far....looking good,
er...sounding good!
