Fiio FT5

After a few weeks with my new FT5, I'm looking for a new headphone amplifier.
Maybe you can recommend one to me?

Since I want to operate a second headphone with a different impedance in parallel, it should have 2 adjustable outputs. Unfortunately, a LakePoeple G105 has too few inputs and no DAC.
So far I have used an Oehlbach XXL DAC.

Topping A70 Pro

3 independent (volume and gain) headphone outputs: 2 balanced & 1 SE.

You asked for amplifier recommendations.

What you seem to be after is an AMP/DAC combo.

I don't know of any with independent headphone outputs. Multiple, yes but not independent / switchable.

You're right.
I'm looking for an AMP/DAC with 2 headphone outputs that can be adjusted so that I can listen to the FT5 and the FT3/350 at the same time as my wife.
The volume adjustment could also be done with “balance”.

Its really a fiio K7 problem solved.

Are the headphone outputs switchable with independent volume and gain settings or is the signal alway "on" in every output ?

Its alwsys on, and u will not find any headphone amp under like 1000€ or more where u can independently manipulate the balanced and single ended outputs. When i watching movies with my wife i use a mackie hm4 headphone splitter/amplifier so we can use headphones and can control the volumes independently with the knobs for each headphone. But its first of all a studio device, not a hifi although maybe this is what u searching for, its very cheap and i dont hear any drawbacks in audio quality vs the k7, weird. Oh and its only a single ended with 6.3 plugs.

Just how proprietary are the cup connections? Would I be able to use other cables with it, more specifically my Meze copper 4.4mm balanced cable? Is the fitment/clamp tight enough to do some head bobbin without them sliding off my head?

They are just 3.5mm and the clamp is good without being too tight.

Thanks buddy. I read a review stating that they are twist lock connections.
I read that somewhere too and I asked around as that was a concern before I bought them. But they are 3.5mm and use my Hart cables like the rest.
