Just ordered. A rather rarely asked question: How does R9 work with portable monitors (with touch screen ability)? On Samsung phone any external monitors works smoothly due to Samsung Dex. Especially, with R9, would the touch screen on the portable monitor work properly?

I use YouTube Music to watch concert/music videos a lot on an Android player. Since R9's screen will be sitting vertically I'm wondering would it work with a external portable monitor.

Also, what is the difference between the UK/EU/US version? Would the volume be limited in any of these versions?

My presumption is that the only difference between the three versions is the included power cable. The internal power supply supports both 110-120V and 220-240V, so the only thing that should need to be changed between countries is the power cable itself.

I currently have the M17 and only using it explicitly as a desktop unit, never took it anywhere, therefore this unit is a perfect replacement for my M17, but I won 't be buying one since it is not using the latest ESS9039PRO chips. I don't want to buy now, since possibly the ES9039pro version is not far behind.

Hi, you can connect R9 with your portable monitors via HDMI, but it can only supports video output, does not support touch function by your monitors.
