Looks impressive but is there any consideration gone in to the F9 that tackles canal pressure?

its hard to go back from very well vented iems, open back headphone like effortlessness that the sound quality has. some of you folks know what i mean.

I like having vents, feels like the only reason I am not absolutely eager to use ie800 is due to their driver flex. FiiO F5 has no driver flex and it has a wonderful comfort in general, I wish more IEMs would have a more open design like it

What is the pro version of F9? what are the differenceS?

When will these be available in the UK?

It feels like i'm always playing the waiting game for new Fiio products :frowning2:
Same here. No sites in the UK look like they even have the new items on pre order and I'm not keen to order from aliexpress due to the long lead times (1-2 months for delivery) and probable import duties.

Hmm. Been looking for a cheap Andromeda for quite some time, but every attempt results in disappointment. I like the specs of this model, might give it a listen if I can find one, since last Fiio successes have punched considerably higher than their price band. And this is an expression I truly hate, but with something like the Dunu T1/EX1, it's tempting to use it...

Chris - are you getting a lower treble peak around 7-8 kHz? Not quite a monster like the RE800, but a little bit of an enhancement with cymbals especially?
