I was thinking of upgrading from my humble Fiio e7 setup and is wondering if it is better to buy a e9 or a total bithead and sell the e7? I currently own a Sennheiser HD598. If anybody can tell me which combo can make the Senns sound better it would be great.

I was hoping for someone to chime in on this post as well. My son's birthday is coming up and he put the Fiio E7 on his list. He wants the flexibility of the DAC and amp combo. I was wondering whether there was a clear winner in the total bithead vs. E7 challenge.
