Hi there,
Setup is as follows:-
Windows 7 PC
FiiO E17 DAC
HifiMan EF2A
DT1350's
Software used is the latest version of Foobar playing FLAC files with the WASAPI module installed...
On playing any FLAC files that are 88200 Hz / 24-bit / 2 channels I get the following error:-
Unrecoverable playback error: Unsupported stream format: 88200 Hz / 24-bit / 2 channels
Note: I do not get the error with FLAC files at 96000 Hz / 24-bit / 2 channels or 44100 Hz / 16-bit / 2 channels
Surely I don't have to resample up the files that are at 88200 Hz to 96000 Hz using a software resampler in Foobar, I can understand having to resample FLAC files at 192000 Hz down to 96000 Hz as the E17 only supports this as a maximum via USB...
But 88200 Hz files surely there shouldn't be any resampling involved?
Also I am guessing this type of thing is going to affect me at home with Mac running OS X and using Fidelia and the FiiO E17?
Many thanks in advance of any help or replies.
Russell
p.s. I have checked all the options in the Windows 7 driver (interestingly there was no 88200 hz option).
