Hello,

BTR3K is connected to an Ipad Pro 11 / 2018 mainly, but the hiss/crackling also occours with my Samsung S9+.

So i did some tests regarding the different volume settings.

- BTR3K Volume 32 (max) / control Volume with IPad (about 70%) --> this was my main setting so far. Hiss/crackling ist really bad.
- IPad Volume max / control Volume with BTR3K (about 24) --> its like night and day! Hiss/crackling nearly completely dissapeared

So the problem seems max. Volume (32) over USB, because with bluetooth there is no hiss/crackling even with Volume 32 (max). Even with Volume 30 the problem seems much better over USB.

FiiO recommends using max volume from the device and controlling volume from the BTR.

I am in the process of getting a desktop setup for bookshelf speakers + headphones/earphones.

I'm wondering if it's possible for me to use my BTRk3 as a USB DAC connected to my PC, and also use it as a DAC for my speakers (by connecting the BTR3k to a separate speaker amplifier)? I'm very new so please let me know if my thinking is flawed.

Dear user,

The BTR3K could work as USB DAC for the PC. Then you could connect its 3.5mm output to the speaker via the audio cable.

Best regards

Hi, BTR3K when used as USB DAC with Android works well with Spotify, Tidal apps but no sound with UAPP even though it shows the song is playing. Any one facing similar issue?
Dear user,

You may check if there are any usb output option in the UAPP app? Then turn it on and check again?

Best regards

Hi.

My btr3k does not pair with the 2020 Amazon Fire hd tablet. It say 'pairing rejected by btr3k'.

Any ideas what could be the problem?
Dear user,

Please check whether your BTR3K is in pairing mode? You could hold the multifunctional button for 5s after turning on the BTR3K. The blue and red indicator will flash alternately at that time.

Best regards

I've had my BTR 3K for several months now, and the microphone just stopped working with trying to use with phone calls on my iPhone XS. Music playing is fine and when I answer a call I can hear the person on the other end, but the microphone is not sending any signal. Does anyone have any ideas?

Dear user,

You are using the microphone in the headphone or in the BTR3K?

Microphone from the BTR3K. My CIEM cable does not have a microphone.
Dear user,

Please check via other headphone and clear the pairing record then reconnect as well.

If the issue still remains, please contact your seller about that first.

If the seller fails to help, please contact us (support@fiio.com) again with the receipt attached.

Best regards

I emailed support 4 days ago and have not heard anything. I tried resolving through Amazon, but they also directed my to your support@fiio.net email.
