Dear user,

You may try the methods below to see if it helps:

①If the app quit working, it is suggested to clear the pairing record of the BTR3K in your phone. Then reconnect it to your phone and try again.

②For the iOS version: the first time to enter “Bluetooth device control”, short press the power button of the BTR3K to finish connection, and then click “Cancel” and return to “Bluetooth device control” menu. It will be connected successfully. At this time, click BTR3K to execute relating operations.

③For the iOS version: if the BTR3K did not show up in the “Bluetooth device control” list, click the “Refresh” icon in the upper right corner, or quit the app for a while and then reenter it.

Best regards
I was able to get the app connected to the device. In the app, the button to tap to open the device is in Chinese that I couldn't read and it didn't look like a button (Please translate this to English in the English language version of the app). Once I tapped that, I was able to use the app with the BTR3K.

My PC does not have bluetooth built in, so if I want to use bluetooth headphones with it, I'll have to buy a USB bluetooth receiver. Was looking at this since it got LDAC.
Dear user,

So you may need a Bluetooth transmitter instead of a receiver.

Best regards

The system language is English. EN Overall the English on this page does not make much sense, but the Chinese is even harder to read!

So I'm curious. For kicks I'm using the BTR3K with my Senheisser HD6XX, which is 300 ohms and at Max it's plenty loud for me. It sounds great! I'm wondering why it says only up to 100 ohms. Very happy with this setup and use it every day now for about a month.

Hi.

I've just bought this. I'll be getting it Saturday.

I was going to use this partly as a USB DAC but then I saw the max frequency is only 48khz. Now I am not too well versed about all things Bluetooth but can I use this with a bluetooth dongle attached to my PC and receive high resolution files over bluetooth with no loss of quality? Does the btr3k remove jitter from the bluetooth and send it to the headphone jacks? Can bluetooth even do this?

Have I got this device totally wrong?

Hello,

i'm getting bad hiss using my Fiio BTR3K as a USB DAC. I tried different cables without any improvement. This crackling/hissing noise during games is really a pain. There is no hiss over bluetooth. Is the performance over USB really that bad or is my unit broken?

If you haven't already, please disable Charging, see if that cuts out the noise brought through the USB power lines.

I don't have that problem with my BTR3k (or BTR5) using them in USB DAC mode connected to my PC via USB from the front or back connections.

If you can get a data only cable - no power connection - and see if that helps. I haven't found a cable like that yet myself, so if you find one please post a link.

Did you try other cables / sources? PC, laptop, phone, tablet?

If you can't get rid of the hiss / noise I'd return it and try another unit.

For most sources you won't loose resolution with the BTR3k as a USB DAC "limited" to 48khz. Often I set my BTR5 / M15 / D90 MQA to 44.1lhz/48khz to match the source encoding. While it is easier to leave the BTR5 / M15 / D90 MQA set to 384k in the Sound Settings for each of them, I have also left them set to 44.1khz/48khz when that's as high as the source will go.

The BTR3k / BTR5 are handy portable AMP/DAC's for using IEM's / Headphones that aren't supplied with BT already - I use them when I am mobile and at home.

The BTR3k also acts as a USB DAC with the Nintendo switch, which is handy, because the BTR5 won't work as a USB DAC with the Nintendo switch.

I've used the BTR3k along with the BTR5 as my PC DAC / AMP to drive wired headphones, but now that I have the D90 MQA / A90 I use those primarily on the desktop and use the BTR3k / BTR5 for mobile use with my phone.

Is this connected to a phone or PC? I find phone USB outputs to be very noisy. I am using my BTR3K with my PC as a USB DAC and I don't detect any noise at all. If I connected it to my Nexus 6P it would be a different story.
