You may try to use the B-7000 glue for sticking the back panel again.

My FiiO BTR3K has been acting up recently. It's only ~9 months old, but seems like it's ready to die.

1. It will not power on ~80% of the time. I can press and hold the power button for 1 second, 3 second, 10 second, or 30 second intervals as recommended. The lights never turn on. It doesn't reset.
2. It will stay on the red light forever, even when unplugged.
3. It does not show up in the Fiio app, it can't be connected to via its only paired device (an iPhone 12 Pro), nor on the 20% times it does turn on + connected to a PC, Device Manager states "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". It is recognized as a FiiO BTR3K, however! Pressing and holding the multi-function button for 5 seconds to turn on DFU Mode (blinking red & blue lights), however, does nothing.
4. It was last working ~30 minutes ago, when it showed 60% charge (charging was on, car mode was on).
5. I updated the firmware to 1.3 almost 9 months ago and there does not seem to be a newer firmware.

I'm a little concerned it's died so early, but thankfully within the warranty. I've also emailed FiiO support: let's see.

@SlimCharles hello there. Same happened to mine. In my case it was the battery which swelled and popped off the back cover. I would advise you to check battery too. If the back cover doesn't sit flush it certainly the battery turning bad. Has the battery life of your BTR3K significantly shortened? Mine did. This seems to be a common issue with the BTR3K.

I'd recommend applying Locktite with a toothpick so you use the smallest amout possible. Once it dries it will hold fast and you don't need to apply a lot for it to do so. I have repaired IEM shells, headphone headband joints, strain relief to housing joints, and much more. When solid hold and no flexing in tight seems that will only allow for small amounts of adhesive Locktite is my go to. Good luck!

Dear friend,

The BTR3 is only a Bluetooth receiver so it could not support the function you mentioned.
You could consider our BTA30Pro if you would prefer BT transmisson in USB DAC mode.

1. The BTR3K is driverless.
2. The USB DAC driver for BTR5 could be downloaded from our forum: https://forum.fiio.com/note/showNoteContent.do?id=202105191527366657910&tid=17
You could enable ASIO mode after install the USB DAC driver.

BTR3K sounds fantastic. After a long period of using qudelix and btr5, I've come to realize that I seem to prefer the sound profile of AKM. It's a pity that the ES100 doesn't use Type-C, so currently, the btr3k is my choice.
