No sign of stock at B&H or any other non Chinese retailer at this point.
Hifigo order I purchased last year november is about to go out for me, so they did receive a shipment. However they most likely are fulfilling backorders, their page says the wait time can be up to a month.

I think the best bet is to jump onboard, ordering wherever you can, and wait.

We're honored to announce that the FiiO BTR17 and K19 have been awarded Headfonics' 2024 Top Gear Awards!
BTR17:
"
The FiiO BTR17 is a formidable and versatile dongle DAC that can fill many audio needs and is a step above its predecessor sonically.

Performance-wise it beats its counterpart by incorporating an improved list of internal components consisting of an upgraded DAC and amplification section.

The aptX Lossless codec hasn’t taken off and I don’t consider it mainstream yet but it’s good to know that the FiiO BTR17 has that feature built-in which also makes this flagship model future-proof.

Once again, releasing the BTR17 allowed FiiO to regain the 2024 pole position in this genre and the best part is that FiiO made it happen without a price hike to boot which is rare in a world of constant price hikes."

How so, is it manufacturer officially supported user replaceable battery, how do you even open this thing?

EDIT: Sorry, thought it was a statement before noticing "?" at the end. No, I don't think it's user replaceable.

The firmware update arrived. I tried it 5 times but at the last moment it always said it was not installed. I reset it to factory settings and the installation was successful.

According to your first tests, the Ldac problem on my S23 Ultra has been solved.

Update worked first go.

Did a reset upon completion and had to re do my settings for filter/gain/time-out/brightness etc.

Volume on 120 steps turns 15 into 45 from 60. Nice to have more granularity, just make sure you turn down whatever it is you thought you had and re-calibrate to the new volume scale.

I sometimes get interference on BTR17 when put it near cellphones. Is this normal? Since there’s no such kind of interference when I use BTR7, BTR15, BTR13.
I am using S23 Ultra. I have dual physical sim installed and both are active, mobile data and wifi are both active, NFC is active, Uwb is active, Mobile hotspot is active. Despite all this, the sound is pristine.

What phone do you have? Maybe he/she is doing this with more than one phone, or maybe it doing it when a call comes in.

I get noise when texts come in only if connected via USB.

S23 Ultra 1TB. Global Unlock version.

I also get this over the Mojo 2 and also did over the RU6.

Only difference is the RU6 was the only portable I got wireless interference from.

I'm using it with the LT-TC5 cable on my S23 Ultra and nothing like this happens. I have never used the cable that came with it. But I'll still listen to it again

Thank you for the informative post. I attempted to install the firmware, but the initial attempt was unsuccessful. I performed a factory reset on the BTR17, unpaired it from my S23 Ultra, and then re-paired the devices before trying again. Unfortunately, the second attempt also failed. Subsequently, I executed a factory reset from the App, which caused the device to enter a loop, attempting to install the firmware 2-3 times. Eventually, the installation was successful. Following this, I performed a factory reset on the device immediately after powering it on again. The LDAC codec seems to be remembered, as confirmed from the FiiO App and Settings. I have powered the device on and off five times.

I no longer use LDAC, nor do I pair my BTR17 with my S23 Ultra. I am now using my Creative BT-W6 to listen to aptX Lossless, which works fantastically.

Interesting, even since yesterday I was seeing some new options in FiiO Control, before the firmware was released.
