can btr5k drive iems with less than 100 db sensitivity from 3.5 mm output?

i disposed of most of my possessions. in the same way, I started to sell the dac i have in order to reduce the number of dacs to two. i wonder if i can use the btr5k for low sensitivity iems. i was waiting for btr15 but there was more time to btr15 e. i just use iems, btr5k can drive most things? looks like i'll have a few more planar earphones on hand soon
I think it would. It drives all of my headphones just fine, including my Senn. Hd 6xx, and that's single ended on the low gain setting.
The btr5 has a balanced input and a high gain option, so I'm guessing it would drive a low sensitivity item.

i have one in hand, i did not open the package for the btr15 order, but o found out that it is a long time for the btr15. sufficient if it offers enough power for planars

i forgot the gain mode. if it can provide enough power from 3.5mm to he600, it's really good.

by the way, i pressed the add button for the above message, but the system didn't tag the person who recommended it, i don't know why.

Dear friend,

You may check whether this FAQ helps: https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/328476.html

When I connect my fiio btr5k to my phone in wired mode, it slows down my phone either. i tried this on several android devices. the music continues, it appears on the btr5k's screen, but there is no sound. The device is new, I opened the box today.

everything seems fine but there is no sound, after a few tries, the sound starts to come out, but after a while I still have the same problems. I had a similar problem on my btr3k device, but it was fixed. I've tried things like changing cables, any workarounds?

I would like to ask users who use BTR5 about 2 years+. Do you observe heavy battery loss ? More than 10-20% compared to initial capacity?
That's the problem with my BTR3k and I don't to go again IF I buy BTR5 🙂
That’s pretty much any battery-driven product these days… especially if Lithium-based (as most nowadays are), and charged all the way to 100% and drained to 0% regularly.

Dear friend,

Did you turn off the charge switch of the BTR5 2021? And use other APPs for check?

Best regards

That's pretty much the reason why I replace my smartphone every 2 yrs or so. Most modern electronic gadgets that required daily recharging are not meant to last over 2 yrs or so.

Dear friend,

Which device are you connecting the BTR5 2021 to at that time? Thanks in advance!

... . Do you observe heavy battery loss ? ...
This is expected. Lithion Ion batteries such as in smartphones and headphones, are only good for around 500 charge cycles. I had a phone for almost five years. Towards the end, I was lucky if I could do a fifteen minute phone call, LOL.

In the older days, it use to be one would fully charge and completely drain a device for the first two battery cycles. After that, it was about once a month. These days, there is some debate if it is still necessary. Although, it is good to make sure to use your devices. Sitting without use is not good for the batteries
