FiiO BTA10, Bluetooth Adapter/Amp for Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Headphones.

taken on amazon italy last week, I confirm the goodness of the product, the appropriate volume, and lightness. M50x becomes wireless, while quality and volume remain the same: A magic! I preferred to buy a new m50x with bta10 rather than a m50xbt .... I hate the idea of having a headset with a life end corresponding to the end of life of the battery. with bta10 a normal headphone becomes wireless of last generation. I sincerely hope that fiio do not abandon the project and that actually produces it for the best sets of headphones to give them new life and new chances .... and above all, once the life of the bta10 battery is over, have a way to buy a new bta10 making the headphones very durable over the years

Can you confirm if LDAC or even AptX-HD will be added later in a firmware upgrade? Without any codec resembling the bitrate of basic lossless (600-900kbps), this will be a MASSIVE downgrade in quality and not worth swapping out my wire for.
Dear friend,

No. Firmware update by user is not supported in BTA10.

Best regards

Unpopular opinion over here, perhaps, but it's my firm opinion that these 'phones, while a great value, are simply not resolving enough for the listener to tell the difference between wired and wireless over AAC or aptX and decent hardware. And I say that as a happy owner of the M50x.

Looks great. If only there was one for hd380... It's quite an obscure headphone in this day and age but one can only wish.

I mention this headphone cos i believe it's the only competitor to the m50x that's still around! Lol

you're right, I've tried m50x for about a month, I've known it for several years, but I've always preferred to buy more: momentum 2.0, bowers wilkins p7, oppo pm-3, beyerdynamic dt770, bose qc35, B&O H6, the m50x are definitely the worst of the lot, with a swollen and intrusive bass, treble too strong, a band that pushes on the head and too much plastic around .... now I own the mobius audeze .....

Hi
I just got mine and find that the mic is virtually useless when connect to any of my iPhones. I have to speak very loudly for the person on the other end of the call to hear anything. Do I have a dud or is this what others are experiencing?

Thanks

Dear friend,

Sorry to hear about that. You may try to contact the seller for checking about that if you bought the BTA10 from the local store. It may be a problem with the microphone of your BTA10.

Best regards
