No LDAC or AptX HD? No thanks.

The asking price for the BTA10 is just $39.99, anyway. And at this price, it already supports Bluetooth 5.0 and SBC/AAC/aptX/aptX LL audio codecs.

Just purchased BTA10 whilst currently on a trip to China. All I can say is this product is outstanding, sound quality does not suffer whilst using Aptx codec, unlike the bluetooth version of the MSR7 that I previously owned this produces decent volume levels. Overall I'm very happy will the sound quality of this product and would happily recommend BTA10 as an addition to M50X headphones. I have not heard the Bluetooth version of M50X however given the battery life of the Bluetooth version I suspect it would lack volume in the same way that the Bluetooth version of the MSR7 does which is a shame because the sound quality of MSR7 Bluetooth was really good.

So you say the asking price is $39.99 yet you're selling it on Amazon for $49.99. Typical FiiO state one thing and delivery something totally different.

Why?
I'm almost certain they are exactly the same size where your product fits, and the 2.5mm connection is the same.
Dear friend,

The depth and structure of the headphone plug are different. So BTA10 could not be compatible with other Audio-Technica headphones.

Best regards

Have you tried ?
Cause I use the cables from the m50x on the m40x without any problems whatsoever
Dear friend,

Yes. We could confirm that the M40X is not compatible with the BTA10.

Best regards

Can you confirm if LDAC or even AptX-HD will be added later in a firmware upgrade? Without any codec resembling the bitrate of basic lossless (600-900kbps), this will be a MASSIVE downgrade in quality and not worth swapping out my wire for.
