That is true, but for such cases, an wireless solution is more than enough. The BTR-Series is the perfect tool.

If the sound quality of an BTR7 with LDAC is not enough, you need an M11 Plus anyway

Well, these are the exact cases when a wireless solution is also not working.
I can't run with a huge phone and a BTR. Even on wireless. Too much to carry on....

I rather use a player, that is smaller even than BTR7.
Sound quality can be lower.

Trust me, I tried - I have the BTR5.
For the moment I bought a cheap player from Mechen - at 30 USD sound is quite acceptable. But not great.

They won't. Though demands might transform to different forms. Noticed there's little trend of 'Open Ear' TWS hooks going on. Sometimes IEMs are just not the most comfortable gears for long listening session.
