Is the M17 targeted at the iBasso Max market? Seems like (at least design-wise) it's leaning that way.

It's targeted more towards portables at desktop grade I would say.

I'm sure the K9 will be capable for PO/LO output. I you check out the much smaller and earlier made X7/X7 MK II DAP and Q5/Q5S DAC/AMPS those have 3 in 1 outputs and inputs (Line Out/Coax Out/Digital Out and Line In/Coax In/Digital In). For example I use my X7 MK II + Q5 combo with 3,5 to 3,5mm Koax cable so I can enjoy my 192KHz/24bit FLAC musics with full resolution and quality.

The K9 Pro with those general specs, 4499, THX amp circuitry, Bluetooth and looks to have a LPS in the design, looks damn serious to me!

That's the latest chips low power chips ES9068Q.Its been out since 2019.

I am super excited about the M17. I have the M15 and love it with the AKM 4499. Nervous about the Sabre chip possibility in the M17.
