I upgraded to 1.6.0 when I got the device and re-installed the firmware just now. Problem persistsHave you upgraded to the latest version of the firmware?

I have found one song that plays a burst of static right at the end. It's an ALAC format file and it plays fine on my computer and in a different brand of DAP. Happy to share this track if it helps solving the issue.
Can you send them? I do have a large alac library and never faced anything like that.I have found one song that plays a burst of static right at the end. Do you mean on the file browsing page or the playlist page?Hey everyone! Recently got my Echo Mini, loving it so far. Pleasantly surprised by it working with my gen. 3 AirPods despite specification saying it wouldn't.
I do have an issue with track order. My music is generally formatted likeXX. - Author - Title.flac
, whereX
are digits. Songs have their number in metadata too. Yet in the UI, the tracks are ordered like this:01
,10
,11
, ...,02
..., i.e. leading zeros don't seem to be respected, making albums longer than 9 songs out of order. It otherwise sorts correctly, which makes me confused. Would love an explanation as to how to get long albums sorted right if it isn't a bug.
Also, like hari873, would love a way to log played songs for last.fm scrobbling. Personally, this is the feature I'd love to see most. A csv file would be perfect, but that's a big ask and too technical, any way to log playback would be welcome. Cheers!

not specific to any format, no matter wav, dsd, flac, when the player turn on, it continues to play the same song before it shutdown last time, the burst happens !May I ask what format of music is being played? Is it M4A?
I have found an issue with 1.6.0: Artist vs Album Artist does not work correctly with ALAC files.
I have an album that has a track with an "Artist" tag of "Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush" and an "Album Artist" tag of "Peter Gabriel".
In the Echo Mini "Artists" list, this should just show "Peter Gabriel", as since 1.5.0 it will use the "Album Artist" tag for this list.
However, it only seems to pick up the "Artist" tag for ALAC files, so I see both "Peter Gabriel" and "Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush" in the list.
This does not affect my MP3 and AAC files, and it will use the correct tag.
I will upload an example file and send a message to FiiO Kang.

I also faced the same exact issue in the file browser, I had to manually sort them out using another app. @FiiO Kang the subfolder sorting is not alphabetical and if I add a new folder it'll end up at the end. I had to sort it manually so if its possible make the folders sorted based on alphabets too.Sure! Sorry, should've began with this. Attached an image of how it looks like in an album:

Have you tried without the period? So "01 Pink Floyd - Speak to Me.flac"?I also faced the same exact issue in the file browser, I had to manually sort them out using another app. @FiiO Kang the subfolder sorting is not alphabetical and if I add a new folder it'll end up at the end. It does not make a difference (on my device at least). Besides period is a valid FAT file system character in this case, it should not impact the sorting.Have you tried without the period? So "01 Pink Floyd - Speak to Me.flac"?
These are images of the same issue (and one another) happening on my device. The other issue is that having a disc number in the filename messes up the ordering too if you have multiple discs in the same folder/directory e.g. 01 and 02, you can see the attached image. The same issue happens in Artists and Albums landing pages (I wouldn't expect it to be different though, most likely it's the same sorting code). There's one interesting thing about the sorting - if you prepend a disc number to the filename then the sorting works, but only if you use the same disc number for all tracks (see the last attached image). I am on the latest firmware, 1.6.0Please take a picture for me to see the phenomenon, thank you.

True, @rec71 even if I do any numbering on the track it follows some weird sorting technique like modified date or something. Its abit annoying like the only way I can get lyrics is by playing from file browser, so it follow this order. Right now I'm doing manual sorting by SD sorter app.It does not make a difference (on my device at least).
