Capcom vs SNK 2 was and is in my mind the BEST 2d fighter ever made. Classic.

Anyone who disagrees is wrong. Lol.

It's funny to see Daigo, the SF3 parry master get stressed out by Elden Ring platforming. lol You have to watchout for the over-shoot. Hahahahaa. It would be a good time to watch him play. This guys is hilarious to watch.

God his reactions are so fun, he's easily startled. That's what I like to see! lol Thank you Dark Souls, I mean Elden Ring. lol

This is daigo from back in the days. lol

To be honest, Souls-type games are in my opinion not that deep. Memorization of patterns does take time, but as such, it is not a "skills test".

Finally, something different

By the crew that make Street Fighter EX. Using Unreal Engine for the graphics. Doesn't seem all that great as the EX, but something different.

I wish they'd make a good Samurai Showdown like the 2D version (the original was great in style).

Being a fan of bellaramatv twitch streamer https://streamersbase.com/streamers/bellaramatv is incredibly rewarding. I've been into fighting games for years, and the journey has been incredible. Starting with Street Fighter II in the arcades, I was instantly hooked by the competitive nature and the need for precise timing and strategy. Moving on to games like Tekken and Mortal Kombat, I’ve enjoyed mastering different characters and their unique movesets. Participating in local tournaments has been a thrilling way to test my skills and meet fellow enthusiasts. Online play, despite occasional lag, has also been a great way to challenge myself. Overall, fighting games have offered endless fun and a rewarding sense of progression.

It's so incredible his father filmed all his retro video game experiences. I like his story about getting SF2 turbo for SNES. I remember how incredible it was to experience it on a console system. He also has a video about X-men: Children of Atom, getting that game on the home console.

1. 3rd Strike
2. Marvel 2
3. CVS2
4. Alpha3
5. X-Men vs SF
6. Marvel Super Heroes
7. Vampire Savior
8. Marvel vs Capcom 1
9. SF3: 2nd Impact
10. Pocket Fighter

ARC SYS does such beautiful work.

I wish Capcom would hire ARC SYS to simply redraw their late 90’s sprites in 4k, to relaunch all the Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter III, Vampire Savior, Marvel versus, and CVS games, with all gameplay and frame data totally unchanged.

Just a fresh coat of ArcSys paint on top to sell all those existing assets of perfect 2d gameplay to a new audience:

1. 3rd Strike
2. Marvel 2
3. CVS2
4. Alpha3
5. X-Men vs SF
6. Marvel Super Heroes
7. Vampire Savior
8. Marvel vs Capcom 1
9. SF3: 2nd Impact
10. Pocket Fighter

Imagine ARC SYS redrawing every single frame and background of those classics. And maybe adding a few extra frames in between to smooth out the animations even more. Maybe even some dash animations in games which didn’t originally feature dash.

I bet Capcom could resell all those redrawn games and make nearly a billion dollars when the projects are all said and done.
Just curious about your list. do you play any of the games listed.

Fatal fury series
King of fighter series
Martial masters
Samurai Showdown series
Last blade series
Skull Girls
Persona 4 Arena
Melty Blood
Guilty Gear series
blazeblue series
Under Night In-Birth
Asura series
Breakers series
Mortal kombat 1-UMK3
