I have both. Identical tubes which sound identical, but triple the price. No reason whatsoever to buy them if your stock ones are quiet. Maybe worth $150 for a pair given the year warranty.Since you like the PSVanes, you will probably like the Apos Audio Reserve 6SN7s which are purportedly rebranded PSVanes but the best out of what is available. Might not be a major step up though.

How so?Maybe worth $150 for a pair given the year warranty.
The cheaper CV-181-T-MII are already 225€ for the pair
Any experience from Shuguang WE6SN7 Plus tubes ? not able to find too much info about those
I think I’ve seen them on AliExpress to the US for around that, maybe more. They’re nice tubes, but I’d say most of the NOS 6SN7s or even some 6J5 with adapters I can get for under $150 and prefer them. How so?

Just received an e-mail from Lyric Audio that my replacement WE300B tubes have arrived and they are in good condition. They will ship tomorrow and then the wait begins to see what UPS can do to them this time. I will post an update when I receive them.
The Grimm MU2 is just ridiculous.
I don't know what these Dutch fellows have done but it's magical.
It's very detailed, seperation, it's all there but also with wonderful deep powerful bass which adds a lovely warmth.
You just keep listening rather than skipping to your next test track.
Tried with both sets of tubes and they are both amazing but the MOs really shine. Zero fatigue or harshness here no matter what you play.
I tried the Dave + MU1 combo but although there is slightly better seperation I think I still just prefer the Bartók with the MU1.
The MU2 is the best of both worlds rhough...all that detail but warm and full sounding.
Highly recommend a listen if you are able

Nice, MU2 probably saves a few pennies as well vs Dave + MU1 / Bartok + MU1.The Grimm MU2 is just ridiculous.

I just posted the below over on the Holo May thread. I'll be adding a QSA fuse into my Envy for sure
...
Just popped in Quantum Science Audio yellow fuse in my May L2. Fantastic upgrade.
Improved soundstage width and depth, improved imaging and separation as well as overall resolution. Bass increase too. Not burned in yet, but very happy with this so far. Guy at Futureshop in UK recommended it as SR Purple fuses were unavailable. Perfectly happy with money > performance improvement here.
First time replacing a fuse. Can't believe six months ago what I would have made of such things, but the improvement is quite wonderful

Could you compare that to the other popular fuses like synergistic research purple or Master?I just posted the below over on the Holo May thread. I'll be adding a QSA fuse into my Envy for sure

Sorry not tried them. But the dude at Futureshop said a number of his customers had switched from Purples and ended up swapping out all their Purples for the QSA. Call me naive, but he already had me on the hook for a Purple as I had already bought one on the website. They cost the same give or take a tenner, so he didn't have much to gain. It in fact cost them a bit of money. Make of that what you will, but I'm VERY happy with this upgrade so far.Could you compare that to the other popular fuses like synergistic research purple or Master?
this is listed as in stock at moon audio. price is $13,000. would much rather have the Envy AE at $17,000.

Interesting. Was tempted to get a Master but when I started looking into it a Master was recommended for the plug and only one in the system. Ended up none the wiser for what's recommended and forgot about it! I'll maybe give them a shout (along with MCRU) and see what they say...Sorry not tried them.
