I will…probably be a while. Last time I ordered from Langrex it took over a month. The tubes were absolutely beautiful though. Perfect labels…just pristine!!! Well worth the wait…
If you want me to test them feel free to send them to my home. I live about a 40minute drive from Langrex haha.

Seriously though do let us know what you think. They sound appealing.

DAMN hehe. Was going to buy this morning but I was driving my girls around all day. Next time. :)
The only thing that can redeem today would be some Elrog TM300B :)

I don’t think they’re close to the driver tubes. Those were just initial impressions. They’re definitely more refined all around vs the psvane. Tho the psvane were also pretty new.
The Ken rads seem to be more holographic and possibly better impact? Also feel they’re smoother but without losing any detail or attack. Pretty good so far. Elrogs are most likely still changing too.

Haven’t tried anymore driver tubes. Just these and the stock ones. Let me know if you decide to part with something, I may be interested.

My Ken rad VT-231 staggered plates are definitely an upgrade from stock just as you said and I agree with your assessment particularly about being more holographic and will benefit from 50-100 hours of burn in if true NOS to open up the treble to become a fairly neutral and resolving tube - but I haven't found them the best match with the Elrog ER300Bs (especially for Susvara) as the sound becomes bloated with the already hefty ER 300Bs (somehow it works with Utopia, not so much with Susvara at least to my taste).

Of my drivers, I've had better luck with Sylvania VT-231 and I'm enjoying it with both Utopia and Susvara (in particular) better. Sylvania tubes with a reputation for brighter treble seem a good way to go in general with these weighty Elrog ERs. Pretty easy to get the better Sylvania tubes from wartime to the early 50s. I bet the Ken Rads match like crazy with the WE 300Bs or Takatsukis, but that's a guess for now.

To me, the Elrog ER300B is a hefty sound but definitely represents extreme detail and clarity in the midrange and also bass with a notable tube-sweetness, just not so much air to sparkle the sound and there is some roll off - at least so far with my ears and my set up, admittedly with a darker DAC.

Hefty as in too much mid bass? They are bloated compared to MOs. They pair exceptionally well with the Brimar 6j5G

For whatever reason the GEC L63 aggravate my tinnitus, both in my Glenn OTL and the Envy. I have both the straight Langrex type and the grey coke bottle ones and have that reaction with both but they’re otherwise some of the best I’ve tried. I also get a slight hum. So far preferring the Fivre and RT from Langrex instead (Brimars on the way), and was blown away by the combo of WE300b and CBS 5692s with the Caldera last night Listening to Hamilton.

Thanks. I’ll have to check them out.

The anticipation is growing.
The past months were quite easy but now I can feel the hype rising...

Are 6SN7GTB tubes safe to use? I’d imagine but never heard of GTB, just GT.

You can use 6SN7GTB tubes in 6SN7 curcuits but not the other way round.

6SN7GTB can take higher plate voltages than regular 6SN7 but also work in 6SN7 circuits

Probably best to check with Feliks directly
