They don't seem to have Brimars anymore :[In the US I use tubes unlimited for NOS tubes and I purchased my Brimar CV1988 tubes from them. Excellent to do business with and fast shipping. They ship worldwide https://www.nosvacuumtubes.net/

That sucks. I'm not sure if their other British CV1988 tubes are equivalent in sound to Brimars. Might be worth asking. They don't seem to have Brimars anymore :[
Yeah I see they have a Haltron pair, just looking at the picture the construction looks quite a bit different but yeah doesn't hurt to askThat sucks. I'm not sure if their other British CV1988 tubes are equivalent in sound to Brimars. Might be worth asking.
When I ordered from them in October,, I saw the Haltrons as well but I called and asked if he had Brimars and he said that he did. After the sale he told me that he had a few more matched pairs if I wanted more and at least one matched and balanced pair. He might still have some available.Yeah I see they have a Haltron pair, just looking at the picture the construction looks quite a bit different but yeah doesn't hurt to ask
Honestly i think that there are extremely marginal differences between all PSVane tubes including the Globes (i have them) / some golden whatever edition / the Linlai Elites (i had them, were good) and the newest Apos series. I suspect that in a blind test you'll have a very hard time differentiating those. I could be wrong though. They offer good technicalities but no musicality / lushness / warmth. The more expensive models probably have a slight edge in an even better separation. Maybe.Where do the Linlai E-6SN7 Elite tubes fit in here for new stock?
That's the main reason why we need a good 6SN7 manufacturer with a different sound signature other than the PSVanes.
There were rumours about Western Electric 6SN7's but i read that the guy that wanted to make them passed away half a year ago.

You need to make a note that the Linlai E-6SN7 you typically buy on eBay, Alli, etc. are produced for the Chinese market and aren't selected to the same spec (being inferior) as the Linlai Global Elite that you get directly from Linlai website (and one more official distributor that I can't recall the name). The difference is even greater if you go for the top 10% spec of the Linlai Global Elite series (only available directly from Linlai). Obviously, they also come at more premium price.Where do the Linlai E-6SN7 Elite tubes fit in here for new stock?

Edit :- I don’t know why but in their description they say 60’s production, but they are mostly 50’s.
