I still prefer the Susvara though hehe. But as others have mentioned, they seem to elevate most headphones to max performance. I did notice I preferred the Atriums with the Ferrum stack though.

I’ve tried HD650 and other mid-fi headphones on Envy. It elevates them to their best possible performance, but they don’t scale as well as current flagships, by a long shot.

Oh definitely agree. The Susvara and Utopia take it to another level. The clarity, detail, texture, etc.they both bring is on another level. As they should be with the cost. Just amazing how well the senns perform for the money.

I think I dislike WE300B less through speakers, but the differences are still apparent to me. Perhaps someone with a superior 2 channel system to mine, including room treatment, would have a different opinion.

Anyone know for certain if ECC33s will also work?
I have a Mullard in my Glenn OTL for the 6SN7 socket, and it's my favorite tube I've tried on it, but with very low volume so I'd like to get another and use both in the Envy. I'd rather do that than shell out for 2 ECC32s which tend to be much expensive than the already pricey ECC33s.

I have enquired to a higher authority than I, who says you could. But I would highly recommend asking Felix Audio before committing.

Heard back from Lukasz Feliks who confirmed ECC33 is fine to use. Managed to snag the last one on Langrex.

Yeah I think I agree. The med can get loud but missing some low rumble in the bass. Maybe some stage difference too.
