One bad news, I decided to leave my K701 at home. Just too much stuff to carry, the PPX3-SLAM is taking too much space. But don't worry, I've checked and there should be another K701 present from Hans and one with Black Dragons (Kees).

So after the meet, let there be no mistake about it, the A.K.G. k 1000 is the best headphone there is…

I’ll make a call to A.K.G. and have them make a new series of those.

Let me be the first to thank everyone for the wonderful time I had at the meet!

Without saying anything about the electrostats (which were in a class of their own), my two favorite setups were Kees' balanced Sennheiser 650 with the Rudistor (which sounded really, really different from the unbalanced 650 out of the same amp, and the RS-1 (which Chimpie rightfully bought from Digitalmind) paired with the Singlepower PPX3 Slam.

Ton: Some very nice music on the disk! And secondly no I did not hear the binaural effects BUT the handclapping nearby was really astounding, it made me look beside me and then realise I was alone in the car
