This thread is a followup from the thread "Any interest in a meet in Terneuzen, The Netherlands", created by Thrillmetoo. I've tried to set up the foundations of a meet before but I failed where he succeeded to get people interested.

To keep a good overview and to summarize that thread, this one was made. Discussion about the meet can carry on in that thread, I'll keep this one updated so there's a clear overview of what's going on.
Note that the topic says Benelux meet but anyone who can make it is welcome!

The Place and Date

Thrillmetoo is kind enough to host this meet. He has a hotel with restaurant attached to it so there will be plenty of room. This is in Terneuzen, the very south end of The Netherlands. This is a great location because it is accesible to both people from Holland and Belgium.
Another good thing is that since it's a hotel it is possible for Head-Fiers who come from far away to spend the night (see a bit lower).

The adress:
Nieuwstraat 60
4531CX Terneuzen
The Netherlands

The date itself is February 4th, 2007. Everybody is welcome from 10:00 AM.
Thrillmetoo and Hoosterw have been so kind to provide for (offcourse limited) free food and drinks. Highly appreciated, thanks guys.
Multiple rooms can be used for multiple setups to prevent overcrowding if needed.

It's possible to rent a room for the night if you're coming from far away.
If you want a room, please get in touch with Thrillmetoo so he can reserve one.
Special hotel room rates for Head-Fiers:
40 euro for a single room per day
55 euro for a double room per day
Breakfast and tax included

Please note that the restaurant area is not available for head-fi gear on saturday evening. It's still an active restaurant.

If I am forgetting anyone give me a kick in the groin, and I'll add you.
Note that the maximum number of people is 25.

The manager of Echo Audio, a hi-fi store in Terneuzen has promised to enrich our already potent gear collection with some high end sources: CD players as well as turntables, along with a nice collection of records. You will also be able to hear for yourself if tweaks like carbon mats for records and CD’s really make a difference.

If anyone is going by car and can make a slight detour through Amersfoort that would be nice. I just checked it up, going by train and bus takes me 3 to 4 hours and that with all my gear

It would be very pity full to miss this gathering due to the distance and lack of mobility.

Just the more reason to pass my driving exam in jan. though

Have we reached the maximum number of attendees yet? Even if I have to stay in a different hotel, I'm keen on coming. My Flemish/Dutch is really bad but you guys seem to all speak perfect English...spoken like a true Brit eh?

Not by a long shot -- we have 10 people so far and the maximum is 25.
The more the merrier! Where are you from? The U.K.?
This topic is meant as a summary, any real discussion on the meet should be continued here: http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=196192. =-)

To Tonym:
resistance if futile. You must come. Let's make this meet really international. And Dexdexter is very right: we all speak Headphonics. I rest my case.
