bottom line is I love the sound, incredibly detailed just needs more power, hopefully to come with new firmware.

there will be a new firmware by this weekend according to jack, that promises more power and a fix on the 1second cut hopefully it does but im not holding my breath, they said the same thing about the last one...still, the power is about enough for me so im not complaining.
 
in other news it looks like hisound have opened an amazone store in the UK also. nice to see a company giving some treatment to this side of the pond =) they are only selling the n3 at the moment, it is on sale though which is good to see. heres the store for anyone interested;

Anybody with battery issues with N3, if I don't use it for 2 days the battery is empty when I try to power it on.
Yesterday afternoon it was at 2 bars, been off since I checked it, now 1 bar this morning.

I didn't use mine for over a week and it played fine. I don't remember how much it was charged before or after the week but it didn't seem like that.

It happend for the fourth time with my N3, which I bought from hisoundaudiouk;first batch.
I have the latest firmware installed. User EQ flat and volume 29. When I shut the unit down the battery still drains.

Edit: Yes, another new firmware has been released for Nova N1 on 2013-03-22. I should upload to Dropbox soon!
 
Please note that exact firmware image to be flashed depends on the first two digits of the Nova N1 serial number on the back of the casing.

Im thinking of contacting jack about the battery drain when power is off. Might wait for the new firmware first
