The fried baloney sandwich.
I discovered this delicious sandwich at an old honky tonk bar in Nashville a few years ago.
Yes this is junk food and many Americans secretly love it. They keep it a secret or on low profile which is why you rarely hear about this legendary sandwich.

Why does nobody mention good ol' pepperoni or pineapple pizzas? It's not considered junk food nowadays I guess :full_moon_with_face:By the way do any of you make your own homemade pizza? If so then how do you do it? With a pizza oven like this or just with a simple gas oven? Or maybe with an outdoor oven? I searched a forum about pizza but haven't found any thread about pizza. What a shame.

Army Stew.

This is made with spam, hotdogs and instant ramen noodles. A junk food stew basically. I had heard of this dish a few years ago. I finally tried it and was shocked that it was actually good. As strange as it sounds, it actually works. There’s lots of videos about his dish on YouTube in case if you’re curious.

Summer sausage. It’s really good. You can find it at any American supermarket. If you’re in Europe, you have similar versions. My favorite is the French types.

The great thing about it is that when you have it with cheese and crackers, there is very little clean up with dishes and easy to eat if you’re on the computer. Also goes nice with sparkling water or beer. If you’re going to have wine, I would choose white wine.

It's almost good for health if there are such crackers in small quantities.

Yes, food really? They are world wide strangely enough. Good for children and dogs too. :)

Matcha flavored KitKat. You’ll find these in parts of California and New York city area. And of course in Japan too. It has a nice flavor. Personally I like these better than the standard chocolate version.

Parmesan Crisp. It’s Parmesan cheese that’s baked into a crispy texture.

They are excellent. Make sure you get the real ones made from real Parmesan cheese. You may have to go to a higher end food store to get a good version. Not cheap but the flavor is complex. One of the best snacks out there.

The Hot Brown sandwich is made with butter and bacon and was invented in Louisville, Kentucky in 1926.

The strange thing is that most Americans have never heard of it but it’s actually delicious. It’s extremely hard to find unless if you’re in Louisville, KY. I especially love this sandwich with whiskey cocktails which would be a Kentucky tradition.
